The manga had a lot of boring filler in it so I don’t know if I’ll watch the anime. I might watch reaction videos of when certain characters show up. Also they should just show AFO’s face; the reason why they kept it shadowed in the manga was because MHA was still ongoing at the time — now that AFO’s face has been revealed in the anime too there’s no need to keep it in shadows. Also, if I were the producers of the show I’d get some All-Might scenes in where he actually does something (as opposed to just flying back-and-forth). And if it were me I’d hook the audience with a scene from the AM vs OFA showdown where AM got his injury and AFO got his face punched off. It would not only be an amazing hook to start the show off it would clearly establish the time frame and explain why AM can’t be everywhere at once anymore and why AFO was hiding in the shadows.

What you describe as boring filler is what actually develops the relationship between the characters, something MHA was lacking in with much of its cast. All Might already does plenty in the show because he has the main series to focus on him. One of Vigilantes highlights is that it shows off the lesser heroes, so giving All Might any more focus than he already has would be pointless.

Next episode will be the real stress test for censorship

I wonder what they'll do about the .5 chapters in the manga, since the preview for next chapter skips the one between Knuckle fist fighting a giga junkie and Koichi meeting Ingenium. I'd be conflicted if they cut them entirely, because they actually have important setup, like introducing Midnight who'll be a recurring character or establishing Tsukauchi and All Might's friendship; or they just have cool scenes like the Avengers getting Merked by Stain. At the same time, it might be better that they skip on Endeavor's mischaracterization from that chapter entirely. >>45275 I very much doubt there's any risk of those scenes being censored. Heavy themes have never really been a problem. The stuff with Pop is simply about current day Japan caving in to western outrage when it comes to sexualizing minors, thus censoring designs in any work that is expected to have an international audience.

I wonder if the anime will change Pop’s body structure like what happened in the manga. It was funny seeing so many people in the let’s read thread though claiming it was just makeup lol. Face blindness is a real thing I guess!

Also I wonder if the anime will stick with the manga theme of having almost all criminals of the week being ugly mutants. It was funny especially because the manga kept calling attention to anti-mutant racism.
