I've been playing Where Winds Meet, which despite its atrocious cash shop ($500~800 to change hair color one time, no redos if you fuck up, one single hair style- Weapon skins $2000) is actually very nice and has pretty good writing, but despite enjoying the story I'd be absolutely lying to you if I said I remember more than 2 or 3 names of people or places. I am adamantly against localization when it comes to any language but Chinese and Korean. Japanese is a very neat and tidy language, you read words as you write them for the most part, so when someone says "Momiji Goto" or whatever, it's easy to remember, but when 5 Chinese characters in your story are named with different intonations of "Shu Zhongliang" that are all written the same, we're having a fucking problem- moreover the letters aren't read as they are written almost ever. In that example "Zhongliang" Zh=J , the first G is silent, the second a is an e and the last G is not silent. It's read Jonlieng, but the romanization is a whole other word. Also the Wuxia approach to magic takes a while to wrap your brain around, and is often nonsensical on purpose, superpowers turning on and off whenever the story requires them to.

Eventually logging in for free pulls stopped being worth it to me, but I was considering doing daily logins again for the Steam release. It's sad that it seems to be cancelled. And obviously it makes no sense since Last Origin is on Steam, unless Bride Refi is the cause of all of this. This is why they should have just went all in on loli characters, instead of half assing it with Swimsuit Refi, everything Sonia, and JK Teresse FG interactions. They were never going to be forgiven by censors after releasing Bride Refi, so no reason to appease them.

Why do people want a steam reason anyway?

Either that, or Steam asked them to remove Refi and possibly other characters they took issue with and they couldn't do that because it'd mean they'd either have to remove them from the Google/Apple app version as well or maintain two separate versions of the game just for them.

I got maidvaty and brid in about 60/70 pulls. In total of 360 pulls this winter i got a totall of 6 SSRs. By far my worst luck ever.
