Not sure Miasma is much help, considering it dumps spells instead of searching them to get to your spellcasters. I feel Shining Sarc really needs more protection for their signature card in order to maintain a stronger presence, as even with the monster protection, I find the card easy to deal with. And it'll especially be easy in the coming days if Magnifistorming gets more support. More consistency for it wouldn't hurt either. Then again, I don't play the deck, so I'm not a big expert on all the ins-and-outs. Other nostalgia decks catch my attention a bit more.

So I have a deck concept I've been wanting to run for a while, one that might actually beat any deck in the meta. Thoughts? :^)

>>1611616 As a sarc player, the deck feels pretty consistent thanks to dmg taking the load off of gadget trio. You can even use berry magician girl if you want more starters. The new dark magician support lets you get a one card combo Dragoon off of dmg too so that's something to look forward to. The deck just needs more extenders imo. Something you can get off of ties that bind since both silents are good, but not always what you need. And Gandora is a super weak boss monster that can't even otk with a full board wipe.

Nice to see a YGO thread on /v/ anyways I wanted to ask if sky striker is still worth making in the current format of MD or wait for their new support (in more or less next year) after trying it out, I honestly love it but still unsure if I'm gonna make the most of it if I start making the deck now

Even if there are plenty of better rouge decks at the moment (ex: Fire King, Spright, D/D/D, Ice Barrier (as funny as that feels to say), Voiceless Voice, etc.) I stick to playing what I enjoy, just don't expect to get too many wins out of it at the start. And make sure to stock up on those Chaos Hunters and Artifact Lanceas.

I built maliss and i didn't use it even once in ranked, nowadays the deck is in shambles (lost 2 dormouse, 2 chessy, 2 underground, 1 gold sarc, red ransom and apollousa), so this is probably my biggest waste of resources so far. I still don't regret it, the cards will serve as a reminder that KONMAI wasn't a fucking faggot for once and decided to make a cute anime girl deck meta. Right now i'm playing ryzeal onomat, i decided to pick up this hyper consistent R4NK deck after repeatedly failing to even do my dailies with traptrix and sky striker, but sadly much like tenpai they also gutted it as soon as it was out of the shop. Luckily this time it didn't matter that much, i can patch it up with either onomat or mitsurugi, and while the later is definitely the better choice, i prefer onomat's all-gas approach. I own both engines anyway, so i can swap them out as needed. I'm liking this deck so much that i decided to buy the cards irl, it's been at least 2 years since i last went to locals, but i do play at least twice a month on weekends with a friend we spend all day pitting our shitty petdecks against each other, and i do my dailies on master duel for gems, so i'm not THAT rusty if i do decide to come back to the cardboard game. The cards should be here in a couple days, maybe i'll post my haul.

Bought the diabellstar bundle, 3 URs so i got my money's worth. No alt art however, luckily i don't like hagbellstar nearly as much as i like chuunistar. I'm still not sure if i want to build the deck o not, seeing how UR heavy (and mediocre) it is, but i already have a few other sinful spoils/azamina URs that i pulled months ago and never dusted, but i don't remember why. I guess i'll keep those field spells as well until i decide.

I'm not sure what he meant by that, maybe some cards that would work with my deck? A piece of candy like OCG sellers do? Regardless, i got the tracking info and they should be here soon.
