I should check out the Jugdral ones too. I was thinking about playing the Radiance mods next, but you're right, it's weird to see Radiance anything without Ike in it. Civ obviously isn't a character driven game so it makes sense you won't have the whole massive cast of characters from a franchise like Fire Emblem. There are ways to work them in through special units and wonders; my game right now has the Death Knight and Anna's Secret Shop. Civ II has a teddy bear scenario where it's the same as the base game but every unit is a teddy bear, so I was thinking there could be like a "Bernie's Stuffie Workshop" wonder that would work like Terracotta Army but make teddy bear copies of all your units.

I should definitely look into that too. I've meant to play Crusader Kings but still never got around to it. It definitely seems like the kind of game that will gobble up a couple hundred hours of my life, not that that's necessarily a bad thing.

I was thinking today about how selfless and brave Bernie is. Her battle quote "I do this for all of us" was kind of turning over in my head. She's scared, she's not a natural-born fighter, she'd really much rather stay at home, but she has a cause worth believing in and friends to protect, so she's on the battle field anyway. I love her so much.

Which one? There are four of them
and each one ends with half the characters dead. The multiple routes thing makes a true sequel impossible, even though Edelgard's story in particular is unfinished and could really use one. We already got our alternative story with Three Hopes, and I think that's it for Fodlan games.
Fodlan game with child units never ever I really don't know what they're gonna do next with the franchise in general though, so maybe they'll announce something for Switch 2 that will catch me totally off guard. Not holding my breath though.
