Well, started that modded ER playthrough, went with divine fth+ fth/arc spirit magic since no reason I can't multi-spec. Since the game lets you just transmog armor into anything for free I figure I'd save myself the trouble of going out of the way to speedrun Rellana's set and just make the fashion I wanted freely. I could've given her a crown of sorts with the special altered carian queen helmet but it clipped way too much due to not cutting off the hair like the actual banana crown. Playthrough's going really fast and I have a near completed arsenal weapon wise, aided by the fact the mod lets you warp freely between minor erdtrees and adds some more to the map, provided you can beat whatever boss guards the other side of the warp. Milady, Golden Order Greatsword, Shield of Starlight, Guardian's Spearblade (new transforming weapon that's both a sword and a halberd, used in pic 2 here), and a partially upgraded Axe of Epiphany (starting weapon for Divine FTH class, faith scaling double sided axe which fits due to some of Charlotta's wepons being classified as axes in GBF from how they're wielded). All I'm missing is Leda's Sword, which is my end goal weapon for the build and is going to take a lot of work. Already fought several new custom bosses I missed last run due to this run taking me to completely new places, with a old man specialized in spirit shapeshifting magic being my next big target and wall I'm currently building up to break.
This mod gives you your spells in bundles and gives you lists telling you where to go for certain items and spell bundles. There are still some unique spells tied to remembrances or unique bosses though. And while most of the magic is crazier but fair for the mod's increased difficulty and faster game pace, there was one spell I had to ban myself from using due to being too strong. It would create a patch of massive holy ground that did HUGE holy DoT damage and didn't aggro mobs. Too easy to cheese with.

Yeah DS3 convergence is very wack with it's design spell-wise. The ones here are a good bit toned down compared to the DS3 mod, minus some outliers (unless those final spells really are game-breaking and I just haven't gotten them yet). However, there's no hardcaps in the mod, your stats will keep increasing at a semi-linear rate up to 99 and beyond with item set buffs and such, so I think that's where the broken BS damage comes from here, especially since the DLC was reworked to not have scadutree blessings, but kept the old massive soul rewards. Instead you get your last third of your weapon upgrades from there (+11 to +15).
There is one other kind of broken spell I found though, Morgott's Spear. Just chucks an erdtree spear like he does, can't be charged and does okay damage, but hard knockdowns smaller enemies as if they got hit with a greatarrow, can lead to knockdown chains there but only for certain enemies. Not so useful when fighting swarms but really good for dealing with annoying archers or knight Greatbow archers.

Damn, shame to hear. Guess I'll have to harass some people into playing it with me at some point, then.

Soon enough. I need some Halloween costume images though.
