Do you own any vidya merchandise? Anonymous 11/07/2023 (Tue) 13:12:57 Id: 4afb10 No. 903943
Toys, t-shirts, kitchenware, statues, etc. If not, Is there any you would like to own but is too expensive/not worth it? If you don't know, Resaurus is a toy company from the late 90s which made toys from vidya franchises at from the time. They went bankrupt shortly after due to how high detailed these figures were compared to their prices, making them unprofitable. Because of this they will fetch very high prices in today's market.
>That'll be $200, plus shipping No.
>>903943 >first pic I've actually got those Sonic figures. I owned the Tails one when Sonic Adventure first came out and then a few years later picked up the rest of the main trio on eBay. Actually I got a second Tails and kept the new ones in their box. I don't often keep figures new-in-box, but I really liked them and wanted to keep them nice. The stands have a tendency to fall apart. I've actually got quite a few art books and other various items I've hoarded over the years. I don't really like spending a lot on merch but sometimes things will catch my fancy.

Not really. I was cleaning tonight and found a pack of Persona 4 Tarot Cards and a Teddie Beach Ball thing some wagie at GameStop offloaded on me when I bought Arena Ultimax years ago.I got a Shantae and the Pirates Curse soundtrack, and a pack of Fallout New Vegas playing cards that were supposed to be used for pre-orders at Walmart but the guy was dumb and just passing them out to anyone who bought the game. The only collectable I ever really wanted was a Shino RAcaseal figure, but I don't think they even make those anymore.
>>909336 These yours, anon? I have never seen Jammer Lammy merch before. Now roll them in pizza
>>909554 No, sadly. Since normalfags jumped on the Parappa bandwagon, any merch related to the franchise costs a billion dollars. Don't even get me started on the people I see wearing Parappa's beanie at my university. >spoiler What?

>>903945 I can still vividly remember being so damn pissed off about those Toybiz RE toys because there were some really cool ones for the various zombies monsters, and bosses but no fucking toy stores or toy sections in video game stores ever had them, just a near infinite supply of the player characters ( leon, chris, claire, jill) which were also the shittiest ones as they were really off-model and awkward and didn't come with anything cool. I don't know if it had to do with their production numbers or if stores just didn't get any of them and doubled their orders for the "heros" because that's what they thought would sell but it was like the other shit just didn't exist and I never saw any in real life until they started popping up nearly two decades later online as well as flea markets and yard sales.

>>909595 >he doesn't know
>>923679 Anon why? Just let the thread die.
>>903943 A Nintendo Club Mario statue, Ami, Mami and Layton Revoltechs, and the Nintendo Club hanafuda cards if they count.
Figma Samus from the hideous Wii U game (missed out on Prime 3 Samus), Figma Link from Skyward Sword, a Mega Man model kit, and a much more recent Darth Revan figure. I wanted to get Nineball from Armored Core 1, but I don't $500 want it, so never mind. I probably have other stuff in storage, but not a whole lot, as I was predominantly interested in hardware, not toys.
>>903943 Do you own any cool vidya shirts?
>>909730 What really got me was the lack of articulation and weirdly leg spread pose that Leon had. Part of the fun of toys as a kid was being able to manipulate them into various poses, and not being able to see what an upright standing licker would look like or making Leon hold his gun sideways like his alt costume killed a lot of the appeal for me. >>957858 Not anymore. Used to have a bunch of vidya branded clothes in middle/high school, but outgrew most of them along with my taste in fashion changing. Most memorable thing I owned was probably this Zelda belt buckle. Its design was a literal pain because it would either stab your fupa or stomach if you sat down or leaned forward. The only thing I've bought recently was this Hatfish shirt, mostly because I like the design, but partially because a friend gifted me Hunt, and I wanted to support the devs without going down the dark path of paying for skins or premium currency. On the topic though, are there any other vidya T shirt designs that don't make you look like a sperg? Personally, I'm more a fan of subtle designs and not the GAMER™ aesthetic of being decked out in logos to become a walking advertisement.

I only own this figure and a couple of artbooks. Sold all my vidya shit 5 years ago.

I have a bunch of old vidya bullshit stored away. Off the top of my head I have the disgaea 4 figures that came with the deluxe version, dead rising 2's special edition with the case added zombix flyers, persona Q 3ds and game, and the lunar 2's trinkets and CD. I think about selling them but I never really get around to it when I have some spare time.

>>963033 I'm sure your ritual sacrifice of cheap plastic figures will have a grand impact on society.
>>903943 I own a Sheogorath doll.
I have renamon figurine

I own the Stubbins Parappa plush, admittedly it isn't that good since the ears jolt out, I only bought this considering how rare Parappa merch is. Outside of some old Amiibo figs I also have a Cotton nendoroid, I actually love this figure, I plan on getting a doll body for it eventually.
>>986796 How many hotglues?
>>986820 0. I have nothing to clean her off properly from hot gluing.
It doesn't really count as "merchandise" but I found an old Sega retail cabinet at a thrift shop for $100. The previous owner painted it white for some reason but the frosted sliding glass doors and side windows are in perfect condition. I plan on stripping the white paint off and giving it a glossy black enamel paint job with blue detailing for the Sega logo on the top left and red for the lines on the top and bottom, giving it a Genesis ascetic. Afterwards I'll fill it with all of my Sega consoles and other pieces of Sega memorabilia.
>>986832 This is pretty cool. Will you detail the process here?
>>986899 Sure. The updates will probably be pretty slow though since I'll only have a day or two a week to work on it.

I have one of these on my keychain. It does help on some hard days.
>>904230 My parents were smart and got big sets of knockoff digimon figures off of ebay. Alot of them were miscolored or weird looking, but fuck it they were good enough. For children, even a bootleg can be fun. I'm sorry your parents couldn't get you any of those.
Just a splatfest tshirt to represent.
>>987195 Back when we were in elementary school, me and an old friend would go to an arcade that had what were blatantly bootleg Pokemon toys as prizes. While said arcade did have some cool games like The House of the Dead 4 and Wild Riders, we were both too focused on earning tickets to bother with them. Once we got home, we'd come up with all kinds of weird adventures for our pokemon to go on. All these years later, and I still have my little collection.

>>903943 why of course
>>1023589 Why is it wet? Did you just clean "hot glue" off of it before this picture was taken?
Not much. I have a figure of 2B from Nier on my desk.

>>1023589 >>1023595 On that note, I'm a fair mixture of dissapointed and pissed that to this day no one has produced a Midna pocket pussy I guess if anyone tried they'd be C&D's into oblivion by niggertendo, but still it would be the perfect thing to make into a full-size silicone fuckhole. Add a sound module that makes those little noises she makes when taking damage or riding on wolf link and the rest of my life would be pound town.

>>1023986 Anon from the Midna thread was going to homemake a Midna pussy.
>>1023986 I found his post. >>998766 >So, because I'm insane, I decided to do a bit of research. . . >$140 for At Home Vacuum Chamber >$20~ per pint of Dragon Skin silicon (apparently platinum silicon is safest) >Can rack up to hundreds due to the amount of silicon needed for both fuck ups and the volume of that MASSIVE IMP ASS >Not sure about cost of materials to make a competent large ass mold, whether I make it out of cheapass Clay or make it out of silicon or whatever
