ITT: Kusoge you like Anonymous 11/21/2024 (Thu) 13:12:54 Id: b9848b No. 1041952
I dunno why. But I just like some bad games. Like You are Empty. Despite looking linda like ass, being buggy. Story not making sense and feeling like someone who hit the crackpipe wrote it. And english voiceacting is super bad. But enjoyed playing it. Either because of the depressing soviet artstyle. Or the fine gameplay loop. I just find it fun. What about you anon

This game is downright unfinished and the solo sections suck massive ass. But I love it nonetheless, it's like a unholy combination of Halo and Serious Sam with the 1997 aesthetics and atmosphere intact.

Sonic Lost World
>>1042056 I like Sonic Chronicles and even Sonic '06 more than Lost World, even though I wouldn't consider Lost World to be actually "bad." It's technically fine, but I still don't have as much fun with it. Maybe because I have low expectations for '06 and Chronicles, though. They're bad, but I can play through them and have fun. Do people consider Castlevania II "kusoge" now? Because I love that game. I've read things from Japanese people saying the original FDS version is even worse than the one we got, largely because of the loading and having to flip the disk. If you start the game and walk one screen to the right, which is probably the first thing you'll do, you'll have to get up and flip the disk. All that said, with the western, non disk version, I can have fun. Though there is a hack to fix translation mistakes, and that's useful. Also, the map that was printed in Nintendo Power was actually in the Japanese manual, and clearly intended for the player to use. So get that map when you play. It's not cheating.

I love everything about this game
>>1042077 God I miss urban decay and grime in vidya Those edgy aesthetics really defined the late 90s and early 2000s. I believe something close to that is Urban Reigns.
>>1042074 >If you start the game and walk one screen to the right, which is probably the first thing you'll do, you'll have to get up and flip the disk. I heard it was to the left that caused you to have to flip.
>>1042106 Well maybe you're right. Left is the direction you're actually supposed to go, too, which makes it even worse.
>>1041952 I fucking love Drakengard 1 to the point i even 100% the game with all of the items and endings the gameplay is like a shitty version of a ps2 era musou game with barely any functionality, also incredible slow and shoddy, the english voice acting is awful with the exception of the dragon lady (Angelus), the music rape your ears and the plot is an absolute insanity especially if you go for the true endings. And even after all of that, I enjoyed playing as a psychopath dragon fucker and his dragon wife

YIIK is a game I've come to enjoy ironically. The writing is pretentious, the gameplay is tedious, the music is droning, but damn do they combine to create a beautiful train wreck of a game.

>>1046966 I saw it said before but YIIK is genuine outsider art. It's a painfully earnest and sincere game that's also kind of terrible.
>>1046966 >>1046977 Either of you dubsmen play any of the new update that came out a couple days ago? I only just got to the start of Chapter 2 on a fresh save, but they definitely put a lot into the presentation. Load times for areas are a little longer, but as a trade-off battles load instantly and the run button speed has improved. I'm a little disappointed they seem to have patched out my favorite glitch, they redid the Factory Hotel to not have a ladder to take onto the elevator.
>>1047004 is vella still vaguely ethnic?
