Use matedit to look at the maintex + uv map of what you want to edit, if you're familiar with a 3D paint program that'll be even easier. So even if an accessory was theoretically articulated enough to deform to that degree, it wouldn't know to do it. Say the belt has "lower back" as the parent. It's now attached to what amounts to a bolt in the girl's sacrum. So if she squats down, it'll move along with her back, but it has no way of knowing that her legs are in the way.

This comes with a bunch of belts in the hips category. No guarantee they'll be exactly what you want though.

So, what are you working on in these trying times? I'm adjusting my big tiddy goth urban fantasy mage. The hardest part is the tits, I want her to be my biggest girl in that respect, but at the same time sometimes she feels a little too big, depending on the scene. More research is required.

is there a way to smoothen out those lines under the eyes in the right pic? they're usually not very visible, but in some angles and lighting they look really bad. I've been trying out a bunch of stuff in the advanced bone editor but nothing seems to really work.

very clumsy editing have turned the previous into pic related. I'll have to see what it'll actually look like in the studio but maybe this'll do. while I'm here, I've once heard that you can use displacement maps to do things like make sleeves puffier and otherwise shape clothes a little bit, but I have no idea where to even start with that. is there a guide or an example I can learn from somewhere?
Use the xukmi shaders that have tess in the name and paint areas you want elevated white, areas you want pressed inward black and leave the rest transparent then import the texture into the displacement mask. It's best to use a 3d painting program for that because of how many UV maps are laid, it is said blender can do that but I use pirated substance painter. Here's an example for glove indentation on the body.

I got the sleeves a little puffier, but since I have no 3D painting program I keep having to guess where everything goes and am still a little limited for other things. They'll still be listed individually, but the position and rotation (and sometimes scale) of the parent accessory will affect the attached accessories. Works best with smaller pieces and when physics aren't a major concern. For Node Constraints, you'd attach the last bone of the chain to the other nipple, but I'm pretty sure this is Studio-only, so you'd have to do this over and over for every new scene.

As others have said, it’s more likely that they aren’t dedicated bellybutton piercings, but actually accessories from other areas that have been parented to the appropriate torso bone and moved into place. I wouldn’t know tbh since I never use piercings.

To use them you have to add another type of xukmi projector and then change the shader using material editor to projectormultiply. Other than that, make sure you're using a shader that will react to maplights like the plus shaders. I like using strong pointlights to do a rim light effect on some parts, weaker point lights as a fill, and then make some shadows using projectors. The lower in the graph the curve is, the closer to the beginning keyframe it is. The higher, the closer to the end keyframe. Left-to-right is the temporal thing. picrel is the interpolation curve of MMD. It's way simpler, but uhh fuckenn you'll get it I believe in you. Just fuck with the curve and play the animation and you'll get it quickly

Are there any good clothing zipmod collections? Most of the stuff in the resource bin is dead or filled with scenes/cards I don't want and the repack is filled with character specific outfits

Been wanting to add this very cool model of a Commodore 128D, but the model is legit fucked up and needs fixing in Sketchup (its origin software) in order to get the legends rendered properly so I can bake it into a texture. (Exporting it makes all the legends physically modeled, hence just EATING any vertex/face limit, so I need to somehow bake it onto a texture) Once I'm past that and the accessory tutorial, I can finally begin work on the hair. ^pic: The blue faces are inverted, and the exporter can't handle that and the dual material system sketchup has. So that's my WIP for now. Once I get that and the other cool retro hardware modded in, I'll probably release a zipmod

what do the two options at the bottom of accessories do? I tried testing them in free-H and they seemingly do nothing. They don't stay when you load coordinates or when you remove all accessories. No one seems to use them either, they're always unchecked in the cards I download. also, there is a plugin that adds a sweat texture on top of bodies during sex or showering or whatever but it looks weird on darker skin tones. Is there any way to adjust it? I can't find anything about editing it outside of toggling it on or off in base game.

I wasn't sure if this thread is still alive because the last post was made 6 days ago, but I checked the thread on 4kkg and it's literally just one dude talking to himself for the past 2 days at least so I figured this is the right one I only just found out that plus shaders have a disable point light setting. Is there a plugin or hotkey to just turn that on for every material like there is for switching from vanilla to plus shaders or do I have to do this manually?

hi everyone I am pretty new to koikatsu can anyone tell me how much trouble it is to put a map I made in blender into koikatsu? it has normal maps and I have noticed koikatsu uses a different method to read normal maps. is there anywhere I can get more info on this stuff? Some tools, perhaps? the 4chan thread is kind of a mess as others have pointed out. im not confident enough to post any of my work yet but if I figure out how to get the map in..... somehow.... I'll upload it for other people to use if they want. Im not sure how well the art-style is going to blend with koikatsu but im praying to the lord above that I can compensate for that with lighting and shaders in koikatsu (which I also have no idea how to use).

Their dialogues mostly depend on the H state level - gentle for virgins, intense and fast for horny state etc. Returnee and Tomboy are definitely favorites of the girls/pers. I've made so far (their moans and dialogue), and Glamorous & Yandere just want to get screwed however and wherever.

I have in fact tried and succeeded in getting a few basic models into Koikatsu by now (just shitty background box houses) and putting in a map doesnt seem that different....... maybe... so that's next up once i finish up the map in blender itself. if anyone is interested in my search i actually found two image conversion tools both of which are supposed to have very good results with converting normal maps and possibly other maps to koikatsu map format. i think they have other functionalities but i have the memory of a goldfish and cant remember what or if those are... even though i downloaded them a few days ago. i do not have the links but the names are: Normal Map Tool by Acezen KKImageConverter to the anon doing hair modelling i wish you luck... i touched character modelling and sculpting recently and it has taken me weeks to make half a head that looks about as anatomically accurate as a childs first drawing.... if that child also had brain damage... and a total of two fingers.... shared between both hands. i cannot even imagine hair.... or clothes...... or anything really. i think i will stick to nice square things like chairs... and tables.

That might make some of the other proportions look off? But then again, I think your head proportions are similar but the hair hides the face shape of the catgirl better.

Also here is an image of my first (and only) 3 characters. nowhere near as good as some of the things posted here but I am very new and I did try and use the PostProcessingEffects plugin to spice things up... it did seem to make the pale girl (far right) a little more... pink though. any feedback on anything at all would be very much appreciated. I am still trying to get the hang of everything in Koikatsu but the end goal would be making my own maps and animations. Making clothes for this game also makes an appearance in my wildest fantasies but I think I will try and grasp not making these bitches pink first. One thing I have come to hate in my short time using Koikatsu is the color filter and the inability to disable it in studio unlike the normal game where you have the plugin to disable it. I have found myself putting in models (and characters) that end up looking completely different than how they looked before their journey into studio.

Got myself off my ass and got to finishing the night shots I wanted for this, tried to mess more with light settings, next up Ill probably be spending time working again on characters themself to try and get faces I like the look off. Also learned I really like circle shadows, they allowed me to basicaly darken the entire map that normaly has terrible night variant.

The struggle of fixing some faces on my character is quite powerful. I think I managed to find a way to deal with the weird "wide mouth" thing atlaest so thats good but overall an unique head shape still tends to elude me. cheeks and jaws are unresonably painful to get right. >>1689534 Love the lights on the first one.

>>1710637 The main thing I ended up doing is opening Advanced bone mod tab and going here, then I made MouthBase_rx (highlighted in blue in that screenshot) and decreese its X scaling down (usualy to around 0.6 or 0.5) then I go to both MouthMove and MouthCavity and increase their X scaling to around 1.5~ it reduces the "expanded path of mouth more making the face fit more with the actual cheek/jaw posisions, as for those I tend to mess around till I see something nice and thats basicaly I got on those. (using Takane as example right now since I got her on screen right now while working for new outfits).

>>1711124 Other than for fixing the legs, I've never touched the bonemod window before. Here are some of mine, oldest/newest girls, and one with the highest cheekbones depth value - no edged cheeks, and the mouths don't look too forward I think. My preference is a bit of cheeks depth with less eye depth, but some of them look weird at this angle because of the painted on 2D lips from face overlays.
>>1714731 Hmm I see what you got there Yea I probably could play around and move cheek bones/cheeks more foward to try and achieve the effect of eye depth. but yea my solution mostly attempted to hide the "part of mouth that was too much on the front. Though Im glad with the end result more or less atleast for "3rd version" of faces (I originaly wanted to use an guide I found from archived threads but it didnt have the "chika with most sliders set to 50" so gave up on fully starting over on faces).
