I prefer Homm2 tbh.

Try HotA. It nerfs necromancy output by 50%. It also buffs tons of useless crap into being somewhat viable. It also has tons of QoL features, 2 new factions, and tons of new sea specific structures making sailing much more interesting.

Going to have to look around if there is any way to make this more stable or if some particular feature of the mod just needs to be disabled to get it working. >>1306934 After dicking around and testing it locally on my pc + laptop, I may have figured it out. I noticed a single mod had a slight load order difference and made sure to match them up. Much more stable now. I also stopped alt-tabbing in case that caused issues. Only other thing it may have been was shitscord as I know other mods for different games crash more frequently when using that pos. Hopefully it works later when I try again.
