Thingken about making some vidya assets. First image genned using Flux dev1 q8 and a starting prompt of: A set of 4 3D rendered icons for a medieval European-themed match 3 game, designed for game asset, with each icon on a solid black background and a square ratio for easy fitting into the game interface. Then just describing each icon separately. Last three images are using this LoRA: https://civitai.com/models/1631459/pixel-art-style-illustrious-by-skormino Adetailer seems to remove the pixelization effect so it's better not to use it. Reducing the image size after genning makes it look almost usable.

Sid from LucasArt's Mortimer and the Riddles of the Medallion. https://civitai.com/models/1766568/il-bill-schoolhouse-rock-im-just-a-bill?modelVersionId=1999241 I made a LoRA for Bill, from Schoolhouse Rock episode I'm Just a Bill because I had an idea: Payment processors and their arbitrary demands keep fucking everything up for everyone (not just AI). There's already legislation introduced for kicking their nuts and it has a pretty solid support base among legislators already. What if American anons pushed for it to actually get passed and signed, ideally with an amendment kicking payment processors further? While its current co-sponsors are Republicans, that's just because Trump (and guns, but mostly Trump) getting debanked got it pushed to introduction and not that its idea is inherently partisan (and the Democrat party as a party wants to throw its weight behind not regulating banks and whip people to comply, that'd be hilarious enough to make everything worth it on its own) and once a Democrat co-sponsors it its an open floodgates thing https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/987 https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/senate-bill/401

>>1574346 its wild when I see them posted as ai art. The power pack fell on my radar a few weeks back when I started exploring the various marvel earth and realities on an online database. As I went through hundreds of earth and reality I came accross them a few times. there's some messed up realities for them. 1 kathy had died and the 3 were vagrants and ended up getting killed trying to steal the cloak from dazzler of her partner guy who was dead and she had his cloak. anyways the cloak absorbed the 3 remaining power pack kids who wwere trying to steal the cloak and basically said they were tired of being cold. so that was a dark timeline I found. another was they basically blinked into existence in a reality due to some timeline stuff and than all got erased seconds later.....and a few other timelines including one where the power pack alone were taking on a version of kang who had all the others captured. I turned a ton of this into chatbots (along with various other characters in different earth and reality) on perchance and have had some interesting adventures from it. kathy is far more dangerous than she is wrote in the comics when a narrator has actual access to her powers and doesnt downplay it due to being a bad writer at it. so the lil one spooks me at how dangerous she can be when not as filtered by bad writers.

>>1583347 With anime it's usually pretty easy to find out who the character designer is on a particular show and find more art to reference but that's usually not the case with American or European shows for some reason....
>>1583757 I'm already over 100 images and if I really needed more there's four further seasons, so it's not really a pure quantity question. I think there's more than just quantity, and I think the image quality may be holding me back as well. >usually not the case with American or European shows for some reason Actually, that mention of art references by American and European shows brings to mind something that's likely an issue: American (and possibly European) cartoons of this era were really bad about outsourcing to whatever studio was open and cheap, leading to a high degree of inconsistency within the art, and a quick check shows this show was no exception to that in the slightest.

Found out recently that Regional Prompter now works on Forge: https://github.com/hako-mikan/sd-webui-regional-prompter I prefer it and find it easier to use than Forge Couple: https://github.com/Haoming02/sd-forge-couple To test things out I made some column lineups of a few different characters and it seems to be working just fine. Best girlmons, a Bloodborne trio, some assorted characters and the main FF7 party. For the third one I tried to have a lineup with some modern cool sony characters from different games, which in my mind would have been pretty easy, but turns out that other than Maria and Kat there really aren't any cool girls with lots of tags, so I just included 2B as well even if she isn't a sony character. Each image had Regional Prompter set with 1 column of equal size for each character. Tags that may be of interest: common- column lineup 1- sharpie art, dithering, halftone, hatching, heart hands, hand on own chin, aiming, ojou-sama pose 2- abe yoshitoshi, horror, eldritch, abstract background, crazy eyes, faceless, praying 3- traditional media, painting \(medium\), watercolor \(medium\) 4- tetsuya nomura, traditional media, fading border 5- traditional media, sketch, lineart, spot colors, fading border

>>1589914 I don't think I ever generated any big chaotic battles, but I gave it a quick try with a simple prompt and outpainting using the Mosaic Outpaint extension and it seems simple enough. https://github.com/Haoming02/sd-webui-mosaic-outpaint prompt: traditional media, lineart, 1girl, red hair, armor, sword, surrounded, fighting, skeletons, reaching 1- original (generate image then drag it into the Mosaic tab) 2- mosaic (left, right, bottom directions at 0.4% expand each; process mosaic then send to Inpaint) 3- inpainted (resize at 1x; denoise at 0.7; generate then send to Img2img) 4- upscaled (upscale at 1.5x with denoise at 0.4) Adjust denoise values as necessary, like 0.7-0.9 for inpainting and 0.35-0.4 for upscaling and if you start getting abominations also try to adjust the prompt before inpainting. You can also send the inpainted image back to the Mosaic tab before upscaling to expand it some more. I wrote about this extension in the last thread, but it's pretty easy to use so you really just need to follow the instructions in the GitHub page.

The settings for those 5 images are very basic. I just made the number of columns match the number of characters and that's it. As a side note, I got some repeated characters on a few gens when using a larger width (1536px), since each column had enough size for more than one character. When that happened I just lowered the width (1216px or lower in some cases) and it was fine most of the time.
LoRA: https://civitai.com/models/1614294?modelVersionId=2038837 V2 of UltraSharp has been released: https://huggingface.co/Kim2091/UltraSharpV2 >>1607181 Tried your settings and at first it didn't work at all, it only gave me vomit. Unchecking "Use common prompt" somewhat made it work, guessing the global prompt was a problem so I made it very simple. Another issue is the tag column lineup actually tries to insert greek columns in-between which is funny so I reduced the strength, but if I remove that tag then the separation of characters doesn't work at all and it all bleeds together. Overall it seems to struggle a lot with prompt bleeding into characters. This might be a skill issue because it clearly works for you, but I'm starting to really loathe this extension and want to nuke it from orbit.

Kat making new friends. First one was just supposed to be Kat giving Maria a hug, but instead it generated a little comic. Not complaining. Tags that may be of interest: common- lineup, sharpie art, dithering, hatching, emphasis lines 1- ellipsis, sweatdrop 2- high five, chibi, notice lines Both used Regional Prompter with 2 columns. And something that might be useful: https://tagexplorer.github.io/ Basically, it's a reference sheet with images for lots of tags of expressions, poses, styles, etc. >>1607979 >Unchecking "Use common prompt" somewhat made it work That's odd, but it's true that not having the BREAKs and the prompts correctly matching the columns will give you complete abominations. Things get more complicated when you add loras, since they can bleed, although that really depends on the lora. Also I think that if you try to use a lora on the common prompt you should divide its weight by the number of columns or prompts as to not get a big mess. Basically for a 4 column image, the lora should use a weight of 0.25. Loras in the normal prompts can use their normal weights I think, but it really depends on the lora. >column lineup actually tries to insert greek columns That's pretty funny. I guess it depends on the model. Try column_layout with the _. >if I remove that tag then the separation of characters doesn't work at all and it all bleeds together Makes sense, since column layout is the image concept. >prompt bleeding That happens sometimes. Depends on image width, column size and loras (if any). >I'm starting to really loathe this extension Don't worry. Can an illiterate retard here get a for-layman piece of advice, please? My setup is AMD RX570 8GB + main branch of AUTO1111 webui (there were no forks back then). I've been using sd1.5 for a while now but it suck dick with anything but "1girl, standing etc", even with LORAs. SD1.5 has clearly hit the ceiling for me, it sucks at image composition and following the prompt so much. I've read somewhere that 8gb VRAM is enough for comfortable use of sdxl. Yet, few sdxl or pony models (except one) i tried make ugly half baked shit at low resolutions. And if i try to generate something anywhere close to HD i'm getting out of memory crash. To solve these performance issues, should i try AMD AUTO1111 fork, or some other forks from OP pastebin? Or maybe it's better to switch to a different local SD?
>>1613521 A1111 doesn't have many guardrails so it often runs into OOM issues. Are you using the --medvram launch command? You should switch to that AMD fork, though that might cause more issues and problems for you. Could also try this: https://github.com/patientx/ComfyUI-Zluda ComfyUI has become easy enough that I'd recommend it over A1/Forge these days. >with anything but "1girl, standing etc", Animagine XL v4.0: https://civitai.com/models/1188071/animagine-xl-40 Are you using this model? You should be able to get some decent results with it. Most people here are using Illustrious/NoobAI models which require higher resolutions and thus more VRAM, but it's still doable on 8GB cards with a few tricks like tiling and if you have an Nvidia card.

Is shakker dot AI any good? With Tensor effectively dead, I'm still looking for backup hosts for my models and would rather not use anything that's cucked. >>1621259 >AI should be able to create one's wildest dreams. It is. I mean has anyone ever drawn Orochimaru in the style of Nichijou, I don't think so! It all boils down to what humans do with AI, just like with drawing it all boils down to what humans do with the pencil, or their stylus for digital art. I use mine to portray characters in a different style, situation, or make fun wallpapers, My favorite thing to do with AI is definitely making crossovers between two unrelated series.
https://civitai.com/models/1825607/il-fever-the-mars-djinn-golden-sun?modelVersionId=2065958 Finishing off the Golden Sun stuff with Mars Djinn. Doesn't work as well because training data is lacking. >>1610786 >>1611739 I've also noticed civit.ai retardation. Before, I could see everything if I enabled it to display 18+ content, but now I have to disable 18+ content to see LoRAs for young characters. Can't anyone just host the shit & allow it to be downloaded for local gen? Tensor art users lockout the download button on most uploads to force you to generate on-site.
>>1623583 That's something the credit card companies demanded they do. Tensor's problem appears to be that models that were imported using their bot defaulted to download disabled for some reason. They defaulted to enabled when a model was actually uploaded.

Do you think we'll ever be able to add entirely new characters to games with AI? Like from LoRAs rather than just from text. It's my dream, especially for making low poly games with my favorites. What I uploaded is what I imagine, except have it be full fledged 3D model that's also rigged and ready to be used.
https://civitai.com/models/1839609/il-code-lyoko-2d-style Another style experiment, trying to find the lower limit for a style capable of general purpose stuff. Doesn't get the eyes right consistently (not sure any tags cover the show's black dots in sclera) but it does a decent job otherwise. Tomorrow is going to be my final original "daily" LoRA (if I don't post anything for the day, it's just an old model in Pony format) and my schedule going forward will be more irregular.
>>1642393 Technically, there's already games that allow you to put any random picture as a character's face, like PS2 era Tony Hawk games, and you can put txt2img results into those.
>>1642393 Might take a few years for models to not come out looking like an abomination, until then you could just gen a texture sheet and apply it to a model by hand, or do this >>1642443 , which I just now learned and is likely how modders did stuff like this
>>1642463 A decent number of old games used pictures of people's faces as face textures. Oldest I can think of is GoldenEye, which can totally be modded to replace those with any random texture. Perfect Dark was actually intended to have a function where you could use the GameBoy Camera to add arbitrary likeness to the game, but it was dropped because it was when the video game violence thing started picking up. All the games with a straight menu option to add a face I can recall are either sports games or tech demos for cameras (built in or peripherals)
>>1642393 People who know what they're doing can probably make something usable out of these models but personally I don't know much about 3D modelling. Look at the amount of vertices. Another year or two and it'll get better and new tools will appear I'm sure. Service I used is: https://www.hitem3d.ai/ Making low-poly models like those shouldn't be too hard however.
>>1637000 Simple as expected but hot damn don't I feel honored. Thanks! It was just one of over a dozen quick simple gens (and even then that's the only vidya related one as of late). I've yet to find the time to continue this deep dive I'm afraid. Spending more time sorting the LoRAs I already have before I end up hoarding another 100GB or something. That being said, WAI is obviously the best for anime but which checkpoint is the best for 3D and Western cartoon respectively?
>>1642415 >doing daily LoRAs Likely have little right in saying this as I'm liable to only use a few of what you made, but try not to burn yourself out. This really does show Penny's design in this series is actually not bad, its just undermined by the art style. >>1642727 I did so many out of technical curiosity. I've been using Civitai's online trainer to train, so no GPU issues. If I don't have to clean a dataset or scrape it together from really old fanart on random corners of the internet, LoRA making is actually pretty quick. Also half is just Pony versions. Really I'm more afraid Civtai will die before I can spend my buzz warchest (never bought any, but saving up during December, being very frugal with gens, and the fact that I get buzz from reporting spam means I earn slightly more than I spend most days). >>1642712 I've found Hassaku 1.3A to be good at letting a LoRA's innate style (meaning characters made with screencaps/official art alone, including cartoons, will be pretty show accurate for most styles) through while WAI tries to make everything into its own vision of anime and thus comes off a bit generic as a result. Hassaku doesn't look great when used with something that has no (that is made with some many different images) or incompatible innate style though.

If all you do is give a txt prompt, how do you make sure it is the same thing from one image to the next? 2. Training. These may be two different questions. 3. Is it possible or desirable to download and run the AI locally instead of using a remote service? Any advice for improving this crap? I am using Stable Diffusion from a fresh download of Easy Diffusion with the default settings. Crap output #1: The facial expressions are good but the AI has them wearing wooden barrels for some reason. Another problem is that Luigi has an 'M' hat and the brim of his hat is red. Crap #2: The AI doesn't seem to understand the word "not". It adds in what you tell it not to do. Tell it they are not wearing suspenders, it has them wear suspenders. Tell it not to draw an M on Luigi's hat, it seems to have drawn an M underneath the L before covering it. Crap #3: The brim of Luigi's hat was still red in Crap #2 so I told it to make the brim green. It made Mario's hat and clothes green too. Crap #4: I put the instruction to wear suits at the front since it is most important. Now we're getting somewhere, but the output is full of problems. Both of them have "LL" on their hats, their hands are overlapping, the guns are not Tommy guns, their faces are fucked, there is some weird shit going on over their shoulders, and LLario appears to be smoking a pipe wrench. Crap #5: I give up. So, any advice? And respect to those of you who have been posting good images in this thread. It is harder to make them than it looks.

Definitely more common in older models, but you still get some abominations in newer models as well. Extra fingers is the most common problem. >Do you have any advice on keeping a character's clothing etc consistent Not really. Consistency is a big problem. Even well known characters like Miku can have some details changed from gen to gen. I'm assuming you want 100% consistency though, otherwise if you are merely looking to settle for "similar", then just detail the character the best you can. For example, for that mafia Mario you could do black hat, black suit, tie, white shirt, black pants, black shoes. >my OC (...) The hands are fucked in every attempt. She looks cute. Bad hands are probably the most common problem to the point where it's a running joke. Things have gotten a lot better, but it's still a problem. I noticed your negative prompt is just red. You should go to the model page and copy a negative prompt to use as a base. You can just use it for everything you gen with this model and that should hopefully make your images a bit better. >Is it normal to have to photoshop the errors out of AI results? This is where inpainting comes in and it depends on how much effort you are willing to put into an image and how bad the errors are. I tend to use good old mspaint.exe to fix stuff by painting out mistakes, then shove the image in img2img with a low denoise, or just inpaint a bit. Sometimes stuff just isn't worth fixing though, either because the image has too many errors or the image really is nothing special and you can just roll the dice again and try to get something better without errors. Basically, this is the part where being an actual artist helps tremendously. Also, you should try upscaling your images, assuming your PC can handle it and your UI supports it. Basically you take your original image and upscale it by 1.5x or 2x (don't go higher than this). This will add details to the image, although the level of detail depends on the denoise level you use (too little and the image doesn't change, but too high and it changes too much). You might ask "Why upscale instead of directly generating a 4K image?" and the reason is that by generating something too large for the model you will get eldritch horrors while upscaling uses your image as a base and makes it larger and more detailed. There is a lot to this stuff, but just keep generating what you like and you will get the hang of it.

just for the hell of it I checked out bing's image create feature again, wew I hate it, they added the ability to generate with gpt-4o when it seems close to generating a decent image in dial-up fashion it flags it as inappropriate, usually around 50-75% revealed, and then bam censored, although now instead of just saying "prompt blocked" it says "under review" so I guess I can expect the throwaway account to get banned eventually and the few images that the gpt-4o option generated all suck looks like they got rid of the free "tokens" though, and in the new ui if a prompt gets blocked you cannot enter a new one without reloading the page there's also no link to view recent generations, so to see them you have to generate a new prompt

More newbie fooling around. I tried drawing another OC, got a decent result after photoshopping the crap out of it. The backstory is: she has psychological problems and was is taking pills to deal with them; she doesn't want to take them but knows that she should; she looks into the mirror while holding the bottle and thinking. The first problem is that the AI does not know what a prescription bottle looks like, so it gives her some other bottle instead. The next problem is that it tries to make the mirror the focus of the image, but it cannot draw the reflection. It makes a second attempt at drawing the character from the prompt, and they look different. So I took out the mirror in later attempts. More minor problems are that the socks are glitchy, the AI drains the color out of all of her clothing after being told only to make the T-shirt black, the AI makes her angry (a negative prompt fixed that), and it adds decorations in the background that are all skewed out of perspective from one another. When I tried asking the AI to give her socks a fancier pattern than simple striping, such as black with orange stars, the AI didn't understand me. It put an orange star on her shorts in the next image. What the AI gets right or good-enough: hair style and length, chest size, and she is wearing shorts and a T-shirt and not something else. This one pic expresses the character's attitude: sad and tired. Most other attempts are not worth showing. The character is too far off from what I want to see, or a glitch ruins the entire image. After a dozen tries, I got another one that is good-enough. At least it's not totally broken. The alternate-colored shirt and shorts are in-character for her, as that combo is something she would wear. Unlike most fictional characters, this one will change her clothing. Considering the time it took me to get these two pics that I am not satisfied with, I am really impressed by the good results that the rest of you are getting.
>>1668307 I don't like stressing my GPU too much (even if it's 12GB) so when I'm genning more aimlessly I don't bother with hires fix (I assume you're supposed to start from below the recommended resolution of whatever checkpoint you're using). The last two spoilered ones, I think I did. They're from late last year. I have Hassaku but I mainly stick with WAI and sometimes Anime Screenshot Merge, the latter having no recommended resolution. Much as I want to get into ADetailer (which I'm either using incorrectly or it's far too weak; certain unorthodox pantsu patterns are weak at best) and Controlnet (whether the integrated one prepackaged with Forge or the 1.1 extension that refuses to stay enabled), it may be best if I get the hang of proper and organized prompting first. Which means more genning whenever I can find the time and confidence that my GPU won't melt. I read somewhere that "BREAK" helps with the former but I can't find any details. Could use some cluing in on that front.
Miku mustache you a question: vector art, outline, chibi, halftone background, raised eyebrow, fake mustache, hand on own chin, googly eyes. >>1658978 >I start from a basic bitch res of 800x600 You should probably use the standard SDXL sizes. For reference, I use 832x1216 as a basic resolution most of the time, but also 1024x1024, 1216x832 and sometimes 1536x864 (not standard). >I want near absolute consistency and was told here that ControlNet can aid with that. I don't think ControlNet is going to help making your character look consistent and perfect every time. Basically what it does is use a reference thing that is created based on an image you provide as a guide to generate your image. The thing it uses depends on the selected ControlNet type which can be a depth map, lineart, skeleton, etc. You need ControlNet models to use this stuff and there are different preprocessors for each ControlNet type as well, but it's not as complicated as it seems. For Lineart I use Mistoline, which was posted by another anon several threads ago and already mentioned several times. This is probably what you want. https://civitai.com/models/441432/mistoline For OpenPose I use a NoobAI-XL model and an extension that lets you manually pose skeletons. You can even create multiple armed characters with this thing. https://civitai.com/models/962537 https://github.com/fkunn1326/openpose-editor >Is "ControlNet Integrated" what I should be using? Yes. It comes with Forge and you don't need to install anything else. I think it also automatically downloads preprocessors every time you select one, but maybe I'm misremembering. Check the image for a quick tutorial on Lineart. Basically just check every checkbox with a red arrow, click the blue refresh button to update available models, select mistoline, adjust Control Weight and Resolution as needed, click the explosion button, hit Generate. OpenPose is basically the same. >>1668522 >does not know what a prescription bottle looks like Older models don't know a lot of things unfortunately. SD 1.5 models tend to needs loras for really simple stuff. >it tries to make the mirror the focus of the image, but it cannot draw the reflection Reflections aren't really guaranteed to be perfect even on newer models. Try tags like 2girls, twin, doppelganger, reflection and see how they work. >AI drains the color out of all of her clothing after being told only to make the T-shirt black Colors can bleed. Even newer models can sometimes spread a color around an image when you only specify a red shirt or something. Try to be more specific for each item, for example: white shirt, black pants, red tie, green shoes. >I tried asking the AI to give her socks a fancier pattern than simple striping, such as black with orange stars, the AI didn't understand me. Stuff like that might be too specific or complicated so the model just spreads it around. It's probably better to inpaint/shop this kind of detail. >After a dozen tries, I got another one that is good-enough. At least it's not totally broken. That's pretty normal. Sometimes you get a nice image on a first try, but most of the time it takes a few more. You should really try to upscale your image. The lower the resolution, the less detailed the image is, so upscale can help with that. You can also try generating with a higher base resolution.

Attempted to make another OC, failed. It piques my curiosity to see what went wrong and try to guess why. The first image at the very bottom is the best. As I tried to refine it, the results went further and further away from what I want. The weirdest problem is that the AI refused to draw a gun. You might think that a gun would be a common item. It gave her a second book instead, and often a third and a fourth book flying around. It did give her a holster until I told the AI to take it out. The character's appearance and expression in the first image are almost perfect and the dress is very close to what I want it to look like, so I fed the first image into the Initial Image option. "Just do this again!" Well, the AI refused. It changed everything: Hairstyle, body posture, skin tone, background, art style. It improved after telling it that the background is a door, but it kept drawing junk in her hands, arbitrary shapes that do not resemble either a book or a gun. I tried replacing the gun with a pencil. The AI kept giving her two or more books. I only got one passable result in over 20 attempts. I prefer the first result's posture, hair, dress style (would rather it have shoulders), and size of the book she is holding. It took quite a lot of cpu cycles to get back to something similar that is not totally broken, and it just doesn't look as good as that first image that is broken. It is too... ordinary, I suppose. It looks like any randomly generated anime girl, there is nothing notable about her. It makes me wonder why the first result turned out better than all of the rest.

These two infographics are the LoRA training guide that I needed: https://www.theinsaneapp.com/2023/09/offline-stable-diffusion-lora-training-guide.html They make a complete howto without any missing steps. The "Easy Training Scripts" are a bitch to get to work, impossible if you don't know how to work a command line and read python error messages. I don't want to know what it takes to get the difficult training scripts to work. Python has made itself hard to use. The current practice is apparently to build a separate virtual environment for every subsystem of every python program. Pip won't let you install the libraries globally because the global libraries are managed by apt, and apt does not have the libraries you need, and sometimes pip does not have them so I have to copy them in from another program. After a half hour of spiking the CPU doing some sort of preparation work, it threw a runtime error due to this bug: https://huggingface.co/CompVis/stable-diffusion-v1-4/discussions/10 The recommended fix doesn't. Since it's a type conversion problem, let's try the "Full FP16" option and hope this will guarantee a consistent data type. That causes a problem immediately: the fp16 acceleator.scaler is undefined. Let's try Full BF16. It produces a similar problem to the original error: "RuntimeError: mixed dtype (CPU): expect parameter to have scalar type of Float". So I set training precision to Float. Now it froze the system solid for a half hour before apparently failing silently. I will have to come back to this another day. The LoRA generator is not working, but I can at least start the program.
Wanted to try generating an image with those rough pencil lines. Realized adding a pixel art LoRA at low weight can help make lines rough. >>1690258 It's difficult to remember all the python bs so I make notes. Can either initialize the virtual environment, usually in venv folder, or else only use the embedded python. (PATH OF PROJECT)\venv\Scripts\activate or Open "(PATH OF PROJECT)\system\python" folder, type cmd into the address bar, then hit enter. Command Prompt will point at that path, then enter command: .\python.exe -m pip install (NAME OF PACKAGE) This will use the embedded python for that project instead of whatever shit you have installed in AppData. pypi.org has python site-packages, but many of them are for linux. Worse case, you're looking elsewhere for wheel files to install manually. Worst case, you're compiling files yourself. When it isn't working it's a huge headache trying to pip your way toward something functional. I'm still pissed that even with all the speed ups installed correctly Framepack-Eichi just throws a traceback error when I try to generate anything. So I'm forced to uninstall all the speed ups & get to see the message on every startup that they're not installed reminding me that it could be faster if it wasn't broken. It's an open issue on their git & nobody will fix it. https://github.com/git-ai-code/FramePack-eichi/issues/94 Before anyone suggests it as an alternative, I tried Framepack-Studio. It takes eons to load LoRAs & had to reload everything even when I only change the prompt.

Is there any place online where I can post AI art in order to... ..try and make friends of shared interests? Like actually find friendly people who would enjoy it as much as I do? All the stigma around it is overblown and I wish more people saw the positives, because there really are so many of them. Ever since I learned about AI Generations, I've been having endless fun. Going for a year now and as strong as ever, AI quite literally killed the word "boredom" off of my dictionary and made me a happy person despite everything around! Even if the society on many aspects gets worse year by year, I am happy that I can see my favorite characters doing new things, or drawn in new styles without having to set aside an extra amount of money for all of it. I'm so happy that AI art is a thing, bros. It started a different era altogether, especially for me who enjoys obscure characters who almost never get any new art.
>>1708823 >friends I say you came to the right place. Also, AI is a tool like any other, no reason to be upset about it as much as those faggots who get upset at guns instead of the criminals who use then to kill innocents And indeed, img generation is amazing, it makes your imagination and creativity go wild, best shit ever since baked bread, because it feels like the sky is the limit
>>1708823 >>1708920 Many who could only request art can now generate it. Barriers are reduced. There's still hostility towards it, and yet others discover creative freedom that hadn't existed before. Interesting times.
>>1708823 >>1708920 Only other place I know of is ATF, but I stick to this place because I prefer absolute anonymity when asking for help. Some form of exercise to increase my prompting prowess would be nice. Likely repeating myself but I rather master that first and then deal with autistic shit like Regional Prompting, multiple characters, and such. Haven't genned in a while in light of round the clock video conversions. Granted, that mainly uses the CPU but I rather not push both that and the GPU to its limits simultaneously. I also need to all but scrub an HDD just for this AI thing (no more bays in the case and I can always get an external to back up the VN folder). Need to stop impulsively downloading (loli) LoRAs but Civitai a shit.

The issue with doing that is the resulting image is too large to inpaint & takes a century to process, so I had to separate it into smaller sections, but I made things even worse by using a LoRA that introduces film grain which means if one part of the image is inpainted then every part must be inpainted to make the film grain match. I tried some other AI tools to remove grain (they suck & ruin the image), but the best way to even grain out was to simply SD Upscale it which comes with its own issues & can reduce or break details rather than improving them. A third layer of fuckery was using Regional Prompter. When inpainting a Regional Prompted image I have to switch between the two prompts depending on what I'm inpainting. SD Upscale can't properly separate anything with Regional Prompter either since I believe it stupidly applies the mask to every tile while ignoring the whole. In the end, I got it evened out enough to mask any remaining grain variations in Photoshop. Next time, I'm gonna do something simpler. I should just delete the LoRAs that introduce film grain since they make inpainting a hassle. /textwall >>1713128 I haven't even played though all the shit they added to the early access build over the years.

>>1712471 It's difficult, but WAN is supposedly better at prompt adherence. Made some attempts with Hunyuan, but got a lot of random outputs. My last resort, yet still unreliable, method was to make an edited version of the image with that specific clothing removed, then use that second image as a keyframe in Framepack. Had her hands been gripping the garment we intend to remove in the image it may have worked better, but best I could do was sliding them off via telekinesis as she wouldn't remove them herself. Also included one gen that had a wind blast suddenly blow her top up since it made me lol (it wasn't told to do that). Simple/known action are much more manageable, but when the AI doesn't know or decides not to do something it's a lot of random fishing for anything that works. LoRAs are often a necessity. When I can't get it to do something I try to bruteforce it by mentioning the same action repeatedly in the prompt hoping the AI will take the hint. Ironically, removing her top is significantly easier & happened multiple times when "undressing" was in the prompt. That makes 8 months of daily LoRAs. Intended 6 then had lots of spillover due to on-going Jimmy Neutron project and made it to 7, then I had enough spillover from Pony conversions of that to get most of the way through 8 so I decided to push to finish it (that's why I've been updating some of my old stuff: Easy way to get something "new"). Just one V2 (which I don't think came out too well) tomorrow and that's totally it. Already got a few things WIP, so I won't be totally gone, but I absolutely won't be remotely as frequent.

>>1709903 >>1711080 >autistic shit like Regional Prompting, multiple characters, and such Here's a demonstration of Regional Prompter used alongside ControlNet. These tools do not necessarily need to be used together, however using them together tard-wrangles the AI more strictly. In my experience, this is the most reliable method to force two characters into specific poses with specific camera angle. As you can see, they're posed together without separation. This requires specific masking of the two characters & since ControlNet always places them in nearly exact positions, they can be separated by Regional Prompter reliably. Mistoline: https://civitai.com/models/441432 Mistoline goes here: stable-diffusion-webui-reforge\models\ControlNet 1st image is my end result after all edits, inpainting & upscaling. Hoodie stripes weren't coming out right so I added them manually in Photoshop, then inpainted my edits. Same for the eight-ribbon. >>1718300 >I typically look for stock photos or porn images with the pose I want Same. >where you got the pose Traced from a porn image found on google image search. Lowest effort method I do is simply paint out the background of a photo to remove background influences (Example 1), but I found a cleaner input helps so tracing a photo into a cleanly defined reference (Example 2) can help with complex things. Rendering source posers "bald" removes influence on hair, but sometimes I edit a blob of hair into the guide to force a certain length or style. Example 2, traced some image with the brush tool in Photoshop. Example 3, shape tool + stroke outlines in Photoshop. First Vivian x Miku pose guide was made using that method. Another method I do is taking the outputs of Stable Diffusion, editing & reusing them as the pose guide. Can also edit together aspects of multiple gens. This method keeps pose, but re-rolls other things. Like I'm telling the AI "Keep that pose you did here, but change all this other shit," >haven't genned anything in a month Cool styles though. I was hung up on video gen for a while, but got back into image gen more. I thought I'd get back into LLMs, but I wasn't that impressed with the Beyonder model. >>1718438 Ye horndog. Good gens as always. >>1718446 We use a similar workflow then. I've always preferred paintings, illustrations, comics etc. >but got back into image gen more. Things have been crawling to a stop for local image gen it feels, yet these NoobAI and Illustrious models are still lacking in terms of understanding in a lot of domains like backgrounds, complex scenes etc. Often it's like pulling teeth trying to get them to gen the things you have in mind. They're basically only geared towards 1girl. Styles are not a problem, composition and understanding are. Also might just be me being out of the loop but it feels as Civitai has also died down quite a bit from months ago where you'd get constant new updates and interesting models. The OP is kind of out of date and I haven't been genning for about 3 years now. How is it currently, what's in use now? Will we ever get simple dedicated program instead of hacked together webapps running as localhost? If one were to start genning from scratch, what would they need to do?
>>1718572 Yeah, I had also thought about using some 3D posing software for guise images since I'd have unlimited freedom for poses & camera angles with that, but that does make it even more of time sink. I think I have the 3rd style LoRA already. I don't recall if I have the 2nd one though. I hadn't tried that model. The evolution of it to v4 looked like it was trying to get more consistency & contrast, then up to v6 it's hard to spot differences. I suppose checkpoints can reach a level of refinement where there's not much more you can do to them. >>1719583 Yeah, should at least include a link to SD reForge, but I looked at that & there's Forge/reForge2 branch being talked about on their git so even a link to reForge may be outdated.

There's a part of me if NoobAI/Illustrious have pushed SDXL's capabilities to its limits, and if SD3 being cucked trash and Flux being too complex to modify have kept any developments from being made. Then again, I get the feeling that AI's capabilities as a whole have seriously plateaued, especially locally-run models. What was the last gamechanger we've seen, Deepseek?

>>1719990 This is something the industry has noticed and worried about. It appears AI progress was on a Sigmoid curve and we're approaching the maxima. Some researchers believe if the models are fed enough data they'll suddenly leap forwards, but there's no evidence for that and a bit against it. Now asking again - how would one start genning locally today? The methods I knew are wildly out of date.
>>1721452 AI need a better structure to do their things currently its like trying to force a hentai dick on a real pussy
>>1720061 I don't care for image-to-video, but I admit that it is a step forward. Still, if image-to-video is the only real frontier, then that's kind of boring. >>1721452 >Some researchers believe if the models are fed enough data they'll suddenly leap forwards Well, how much more data is there for AI to access? With AI churning out mountains of low-effort garbage and making legitimate sources of data such as Stack Overflow and other support forums obsolete, it's just going to start feedback looping. Also, I've seen other research that says as AI is fed more data, its capabilities converge with other models fed a similar amount of data since they're all drawing from the same well. It might be a case of diminishing returns, like you said
>>1721452 probably not as out of date as you'd wish github.com/Panchovix/stable-diffusion-webui-reForge https://civitai.com/models/1217645/sih https://danbooru.donmai.us/wiki_pages/tag_groups

>>1722871 Neat. As for the revolver: Illustrious is pretty bad at revolvers in general and the Big Iron LoRA made no effort to fix that (most of the pics aren't even using a revolver). I think the character LoRA influences things too much since artist tags do very little without lowering the weight on the character LoRA. In the end, I decided not to complicate the tug-of-war going on & omitted the revolver LoRA altogether, falling back on Photoshop & inpainting to make the things it was struggling with look somewhat presentable.
>>1721452 I just want AI to be able to do pixel perfect sprites and I'll be set for life. There are many good styles yet but many still have these blurry pixels and all. Being able to create 2D games of your dreams will be the best thing ever, and finally we won't be limited to the same few characters who happen to have official sprites.
>>1723498 Even if possible (there was an extension for this IIRC) manual intervention would still be necessary for consistency. For example, if you're trying to generate a character from various angles & poses that may work if their clothing is simple. If they're wearing anything with stripes, forget it. The position, thickness, spacing, etc. of the stripes will generate differently every time. It's the same outcome with certain accessories.

I gave this pixelization VAE a try and it's pretty neat: https://civitai.com/models/1492329 It's pretty simple to use: 1- generate image using normal VAE 2- send to img2img 3- add "pixel art" to prompt (may be optional depending on image) 4- switch to the pixelate VAE 5- upscale by 2x with 0.35-0.4 denoise optional: -send pixel image to img2img -denoise with a low value and 1x scale -repeat until satisfied Since this is a VAE and not a lora, if you want to test this on any previous gens all you have to do is use the original image in img2img and follow the same steps and you'll get a pixel version of it. Tried to AI gen another of my OCs. The first few images had a decent look to them but the results kept going further and further away as I tried to guide the AI in the right direction with additional prompting. The same thing happened with my Greek girl. Problems that I ran into this time: * Several of the first few images came out looking like magazine covers, decorated with Japanese lettering that is probably meaningless. The AI stopped doing that without my prompting it. * The AI desperately wants to add a Japanese schoolgirl uniform ribbon to the output. I put necktie, bow, ribbon in the negative prompt and it does it anyway. * The AI kept trying to make the image sexy. The picture comes out at an upskirt angle or the girl has an extremely tight shirt to show off the breasts. I tell the AI to give her small boobs, it makes them bigger. Most of the girls have a bare midriff. This girl is supposed to be wearing an armored vest under her shirt. That confused the AI so I gave up on trying to add it. * Holding the sword by the blade. Or showing only the hilt of the sword. * How hard is it to imagine someone standing on both feet and holding a sword in front of them? The AI kept drawing the girl with one foot in the air or resting the sword on her shoulders. I remembered that I have a paperdoll of this character. I can use that as the img2img hint. It took several attempts before the results started to come close to it, then I got a sequence of images that are almost what I want but not. * The AI picked up on the image's superdeformed head and gives the result a big head. * The AI gives the girl a hairband (over the hair) instead of a headband (wrapped around the forehead). This last result is not too bad. I'll take it. This was attempt #23. (This girl's backstory for anyone who wants to know: fire sorceress fights demons that are immune to fire, borrows a gun from a soldier, runs out of bullets, borrows a sword from an ally, has it enchanted by another ally, carves up demons and gains fans on the internet. Her manager makes her into a sword-swinging demon-slaying paladin and sends her out to kill some demons. She tries to pose and look good for TV while her allies clear out the path ahead of her off-camera.)
I was not able to make a LoRA. I ran into a datatype error, this one: https://huggingface.co/CompVis/stable-diffusion-v1-4/discussions/10 It was probably caused by my cheap hardware not supporting something that it should. The fix didn't work. Trying to hack in my own fix didn't work. "Just use float" hard-froze the computer. Could a volunteer make a LoRA out of these images: https://files.catbox.moe/7q8mhm.zip so I could try to give a gun to the Greek girl?
>>1734268 >Japanese schoolgirl uniform ribbon to the output. I put necktie, bow, ribbon in the negative prompt and it does it anyway. Try "school uniform" or "serafuku" tags in negative prompt. >AI gives the girl a hairband (over the hair) instead of a headband (wrapped around the forehead). Add tags describing her bangs & give them higher weight so it will prioritize them. Example: (blunt bangs, swept bangs, short bangs:1.2), otherwise might try "hair over headband" in positive or "hair under headband" in negative. >I tell the AI to give her small boobs, it makes them bigger If "flat chest, skinny" doesn't work then it's a model problem, but "woman, 20 years old" tags may make them overdeveloped so you're better off with just a "1girl" tag. Some tags for breast are: small breasts, medium breasts, large breasts, huge breasts, pointy breasts, cleavage, puffy areola, erect nipples, etc. add whatever tags to negative or positive prompt to achieve correct outputs. >AI picked up on the image's superdeformed head and gives the result a big head "chibi" tag does this, but a lot of models can add extra people with that tag. I use "large head" & (chibi:0.6) with "small head" in negative. If it's really struggling to make a small character with a big head then (toddlercon:0.3) at low weight. If you're trying to avoid all that then put it in opposite prompt. >How hard is it to imagine someone standing on both feet and holding a sword in front of them? Maybe tags like "standing, holding sword, holding hilt, grabbing, fist, arms down" & "three quarter view" or "from side" ??

>>1746578 God bless you, but as someone who barely managed to inpaint a simple bandaid due in part of not knowing how much of the prompt I should preserve or remove, to say nothing of things like blur and padding sliders. I have so many questions. Will I really have to learn how to use Photoshop once I start learning how to use Controlnet and Regional Prompter (or is it Forge Couple now)? You needed to manually sketch out the posings before prompting them? Is style mixing (something I haven't even thought of) a requirement for consistency? And other stuff I'll probably save for later. Here I am stuck on 1girl like a sucker.
This style is cute: https://civitai.com/models/1111648/ohuton-or-style-lora Broom poses: https://civitai.com/models/1455247/broom-surfing-or-riding-illustrious-or-noob I've included my prompts for this with links to most of what was used. >>1748696 >Will I really have to learn how to use Photoshop once I start learning how to use Controlnet and Regional Prompter Could use GIMP or something else & you don't have to I suppose, but it's helpful to be able to do image edits for manual intervention when the AI produces errors or even just for steering things in the right direction for what you are trying to do. >(or is it Forge Couple now)? Forge Couple & Regional Prompter are different extensions that do the same thing. >You needed to manually sketch out the posings before prompting them? With controlnet & mistoline you can use an existing image to get a pose. You don't necessarily need to make the image, but creating a traced image of your desired pose helps narrow things down to only the influences you want. The guide image in that instance was traced then heavily manipulated before being fed into controlnet. After a few gens a new pose guide image was traced from one of the outputs. The pose guide images usually go through multiple versions as I tweak things. This isn't always necessary, but in this case the multiple overlapping characters made it complex so getting a clear guide image which produced less issues was key to ensuring there were less edits needed afterward. >Is style mixing (something I haven't even thought of) a requirement for consistency? No. Mixing styles is just something people do in pursuit of their desired look for the output. AI models are often merges of various data to achieve desired outputs as well. Style LoRAs & / or artist tags are given different weighting until the outputs look the way the user wants.

>>1749236 For the sake of transparency, I already have that on account of asking /adt/ first. After much refusal to use an external image editing program, I cracked and resorted to MS Paint to draw (more like use the oval and rectangle shape tools because fuck drawing with a mouse) an extremely barebones bandaid..Miraculously, this worked but I rather not do this unless there's no other recourse. If I knew shit about image editing software like Photoshop and GIMP, I probably wouldn't need AI. Anyways, going further by inpainting that result made it stand out too much, as you can see. Depending on activity, I'll likely bounce between here and there for a range of advice and opinions on how to move forward with learning this inpainting thing. I'm starting with basic additions (socks are next) but I suspect the first real hurdle is changing (or removing) that shirt into something less drab. Her hair needs tidying up too and I think her right foot is a little fucked with the toes. Who knows what prompts are needed to fix that. I was also suggested to upscale the base image by 3x but that sucked away the VRAM pretty quickly. I can see why. The inpaint dummy's legs are rather thin and a higher resolution might make things easier. Or so they told me anyway. Silver lining is that it makes the six toes much more apparent. Oh, and the last pic is my attempt at giving her socks. The prompt was literally the usual WAI quality tags and "white socks". Clearly I have a long way to go.

Hello AIfriends. Have you heard about Bandai complaining about the usage of their logos in the fake figures generations? I'm worried that Gemini is gonna change their code or something due to this, and in turn it won't create such cool images anymore. This is a nice watercolor style: https://civitai.com/models/1614294 trying it out on some things. Rant: Hornet in-game is very skinny with angles to her hips, but a majority of fan art draws her body with huge breasts, thighs & hips. There are plenty of voluptuous characters & Hornet is not one of them, yet it seems everything has to conform to this dommy mommy safe horny reddit crap while "petite = loli" thus banned most places. Shit sucks. On the other hand, there are characters where it at least makes some sense to exaggerate proportions. Hex Maniac sells milk in the games so you can say "heh, big Hex milkers, amirite?" with the fan art & that doesn't annoy me at all. Experimentation is fine & it's fun to be creative, but when a majority of a character's fan art is deliberately waaay off-model I get a bit annoyed with it. Know what I mean?
