The new tracks they've been sharing from their next album are actually not bad

Anybody who doesn't miss the 2000s has no heart, anybody who wants it back has no brain.
There was a real charm and spirit to that period between 1992-2007, a lot of the art from that period is absolutely iconic. So much so that it's easy to overlook how much of a trainwreck basically the entire 2000s was culturally and politically, and how much of what's wrong today began there: 2001 was the start of our modern surveillance state; Bush, Rumsfeld etc were the beginning of no accountability in government, the economy fell apart and never quite recovered right after 2008, I could go on but I'll finish short.
My last point will be to remember what culture of that period was actually like, G4 and The Big Bang Theory were much closer to the cultural spirit than you'd want to remember. For every Gorillaz there were 50 Fergies.
