Today I want to talk about Pina's hair. Pina has flowing golden hair that, when she lets it be free, goes down to her thighs. Her hair also has brilliant scarlet highlights in it which, in conjunction with her outfit, makes her look like an inferno. Her hair is typically tied up in a ponytail that looks like it would fit on a samurai, but her left bang is not part of that, seeming to instead be its own part. She definitely has a heroic sort of look to her, with the blue eyes, shining golden hair, and even the bangs that look like they'd get in her way yet manage not to. It's very interesting that, despite the yakuza ideals, she seems to have unintentionally fit in really well as a samurai for the modern age, but since she's not part of the Hyakkayouran and instead Momoyoudou, this makes sense for her to adapt to being more of a Yakuza.
Before I talk about her guide outfit, I'd like to acknowledge that yes, this might sound a bit similar to Renge's analysis in regards to her personality. To be honest, Mina and Renge have parts of Pina's personality shared with her- they're their own characters, yes, but if you put Mina and Pina in a room together, then if you came back a few hours later you'd see the both of them being engrossed in the other's movies. Pina and Renge are two peas in a pod as well, but if you come back to the room a few hours later, the room might suddenly have open access to the outdoors because of how blazing their passions are.
Her guide outfit, if I'm not mistaken, puts where her hair parts on her right side instead of her left side. Granted, Pina's forehead is pretty high up on her normal outfit, but I think that's just part of the charm with Pina- she has enough passion to raise her hairline! Despite the hair parting being strange, Pina is still very familiar in her guide outfit, choosing to have a professional hairstyle, yet keeping her bangs on her left side and even embracing it so that way, if a Gehenna student visits in the future, they can tell who Pina is:
>student with bold hair
>crimson spills on the golden sheen
>the fire on the school.
Despite her seeming toned down in some aspects, she's definitely still Pina, and if anything, this shows her having the impressive ability to adapt to many different situations.
For some reason, Pina's hair feels like it could smell like a barbecue. She just strikes me as the type of girl who might give Serika competition if you gave her a grill. But I digress. Pina's definitely the type of student who's so immersed in what she watches that she makes her hair smell like a Yakuza's.
