I can't answer as I don't use 4meme, but I remember 4/v/ was always full of console warring, and I imagine Nintendo fans have gotten extraordinarily cocky after how great this gen was for them and how terrible it's been for PS/Xbox. Doubly so after the dreadful Wii U era. One really can't overstate how massive this gen has been for Nintendo, this is arguably better than even the Wii era. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has sold more copies than the PlayStation 5 has sold units. The Switch has sold more than the PS5, Xbox Series, and Steam Deck combined. By tens of millions.

Halfchan is easily the most well-known of all imageboards, so therefore it is most likely to attract the average person. Average people are more likely to just fall into line and perpetuate whatever trends are happening currently. Imageboards appeal to gamers. Since Nintendo is doing well and is very popular among several age groups, Nintendo fans are numerous on the site and are more outspoken.
