Just watched the whole thing. It's just a recap of all the events that led to the lawsuit and what happened after with some cope comments mixed in about how he dindu nuffin, but even in his biased overview it's pretty clear that he fucked up badly and his reaction to his mistake in his claims regarding Apollo's lawsuit were pretty terrible:
>first thing is describing the statement he made that started this whole thing, where he said that Apollo's debts from his lawsuit against Billy played into his motives for his suicide. His cope is that he said his health issues are what played a factor in his death, but it's pretty clear from the video transcript: Karl said that his ongoing health issues AND the costs from Billy's lawsuit are what caused him to kill himself. Either way he's saying that Billy played a part in his death in adding to his debts, which ended up being completely false as Apollo did not have to pay anything in the settlement.
>second thing is about his removal of that statement and his official retraction of it later on. This one's not much different from what people know: he removed the statement about Apollo's suicide once he realized he fucked up, and then hid his retraction at the end of some random unrelated vid, claiming he did so because he "wanted it to reach as many people as possible by attaching it to a popular video". I think it's pretty clear why most people, including the judge, think this was not enough. It didn't change the situation at all.
>next is regarding the belief that most people had regarding the lawsuit, thinking it was about cheating when it was not. I will give Karl that having a bunch of articles come out that blatanly lie and say that your lawsuit is about cheating when it was not did not help at all, but this is also partially his fault in his refusal to explicitly claim in any vid that the defamation lawsuit was about a claim you made regarding Apollo's suicide, and his refusal to shut the fuck up about Billy and make a vid about literally anything else besides his cheating allegations. It's pretty clear why someone would think that's what the lawsuit was about because of that.
>then he goes on to explain why his GoFundMe was made, saying that Billy had been preparing to sue him 2 additional times, and this time they ACTUALLY were about cheating allegations, which is the actual reason why he made that GoFundMe in the first place. Neither of them actually ended up escalating to a proper lawsuit, but it doesn't change the one detail that he continues to neglect... which is that he used funding that was given under the assumption it'd be used to defend him against a cheating lawsuit, only to be spent on a completely different case. It's frankly still a scam, just that the reason for it is different than what most people believe.
All in all, it ain't a good look. Not surprising why the vid has a 25% dislike rate, there's really no way for him to spin the narrative in his favor. He still fucked up with his claim about Apollo and still scammed his audience, whether he did so willingly or not.
