These AI arts are starting to get amazing. I should start including AI stuff in my Pixiv feeds.

>>59521 >These AI arts are starting to get amazing. It's better than before but still not good enough. E.g. around Kokoro's neck the background is fucked up. One year or two and it will be serviceable, I have little doubt about that.

>>53763 >TVer, the VoD platform where they are uploading the latest episode of Precure That shit has such low bitrate and I don't understand why. It's literally fucking unusable.
(420.04 KB 1465x607 tver ads specs.png)

>>59753 Max bitrate on TVer should be around 4Mbps, with Precure it's around 3Mbps+ on average. It's garbage (compared to Crunchyroll it's much lower) but it's a free streaming platform with ads, makes sense to do cost-saving cuts with regard to bandwidth requirements. That ending scene puts the TVer video encoding to its knees.
>>59771 It's just a free way for Japanese to watch recent TV show episodes on-demand (and also watch TV stations live.) If you want a higher bitrate then you'd use the on-demand services that the actual channels host like TV Asahi's ABEMA.
>>59780 True. But TVer is the only option is you want to watch the episode at 9:00am on Sunday mornings. For Abema and other services the episode is available from the following Wednesday only.
>>59797 For some not as deep in viewers I guess the Wednesday wait is fine, but the real hardcores are waking up early to watch it live on TV at the highest quality.
>>57981 Finally, see you all there then /pc/ bros. I missed 4chan.
(128.80 KB 800x863 1737591845531949.jpg)

>>60533 Goodbye, garbage!
>>59544 It all depends on the artist. Most just use cheap and quick online trash, but that's far from the limit of AI.

I thought we finally had a chance to be free of that site and its awful systems and moderation, and you ruined it. Now I have to go back to that prison just to get my fix of anime discussion...
>>60658 >but that's far from the limit of AI. Yeah but the state-of-the-art AI, with carefully produced images is one thing. What the vast majority of users do with the tools they have today is another. Once the majority can generate near flawless images, without disappointing artifacts, I'll shut up about AI kuso. >>60763 Only some users moved here in the first place, a small subset stayed on /ghost/ like cucks waiting for 4chan to come back (cuck is not a strong enough word to describe that slave, brand loyalty mindset) and IDs are really not for everyone.
>>60763 >What part of 8chan do you not like? Anchored threads take forever to die on the catalog. And the jannies seethe if you try to make a new /pc/ thread before this one dies.
>>60763 How about the fucking IDs, jackass? 99% of people hate this shit, the board post-per-hour cratered 95% overnight as proof. A few loud cumguzzlers in the meta threads were trying to pretend like "most people here like the IDs!" Nope. And no, it's not about the freedom to samefag for most people. I'm not going to get into it here, go read the multiple meta threads Don't care for the multiple-image posting. Just my opinion. 50MB max sucks dick too, because all it accomplishes is removing any incentive for anons to properly encode their files. Reasonable constraints are good in the big picture. In general way too slow to load images, or even to post. Sometimes I'd post an image and it would be stuck on Uploading 100% for literal minutes. You can't inline-embed quotelinks and backlinks infinitely either, and that's a big deal for following conversations. Here you can only go one link deep. But mostly, it's the IDs. Big surprise, people hate having accounts. And yes, they are glorified forum accounts when the threads last for weeks on end (now it'll be back to months/years on end). Also this >>60927 >then why are you posting here? I'm just keeping this one last thread in my tabs until it dies.
>>60927 >And the jannies seethe if you try to make a new /pc/ thread before this one dies. /ai/ made 3 new threads before their old one died.
/pc/ onee-sama has departed -mero
>>60986 IDs are good for fast boards like /v/ that tend to have a massive amount of menheras, bots and samefags, but for generals that are not that fast it hurts them. Also not a lot of people know about this place and others chose not to use it, there is probably only 30% of the normal posters in here. There are many generals that became active here because the IDs actually allow them to have discussions about their topic, and even after 4chan was back, they are still active, which is good to see. I think the main problem is that the threads don't die fast enough, so IDs start to become a problem once enough time passes. There were some talks in the /meta/ threads about removing all IDs but only show them if you reply to yourself, which I think it would be fair. But even then, starting a fresh thread encourages people to post more so I think that needs to change here. Also complaining about the large filesize is retarded, because on the other hand you are hurting those anons who can actually encode the files and are able to provide actual good videos. The problem is not the 50MB filesize the problem is that this site couldn't handle them correctly, and that 4chan doesn't care about improving shit. 4MB is just too small, a 10MB file size should be enough in my opinion, hopefully with sound.
>>61194 I never cared about other people's IDs during my time here. A few times I felt a bit self-conscious about them, like when posting two times in a row, but no one ever called me out on my IDs so I'm getting more and more comfortable with them. I'm convinced all the fears people have about the detriments of IDs are just paranoia.

I was expecting some new powerup since the new Mascot was on their side, but they didn't blink an eye when Idol's solo finisher failed and just immediately jumped it. I almost expected it to fail again, but no they just rolled up on a nigga and that was that. Incredible. This season feels more like Precure than the last 5 combined already.
