Personally I don't care enough that a Sunday morning anime (typically for kids) prevents porn and guro of their characters from being distributed. If Princession remains a good show I'll consider buying their products.

Another fun episode! My main takeaway is that I don't dislike Nagase as much as I expected. I don't like the type but I did like this one. I like Kagari and even Minamo a whole lot more but I expected to dislike green and I don't which is nice. The other interesting thing is Drun's little speech about how he needs muchikara like humans need food. To me that implies he's a native alicepian that just looks like a human male. A bit of a disappointment because it probably means the princesses wont' have a more nuanced relationship with the boys. I suppose he could be some kind of human fun vampire but that seems too weird for a little girl anime... Also, poor Nacchi getting NTR'd at every turn. Also also, I don't like how the transformation sequences aren't in sync. If they wanted to do this side-by-side then they should've designed the transformations to have some connection. They are both gorgeous on their own (especially kagari's) but side by side it looks off.

Alicepia doesn't seem like it's own distinct world yet and the backgrounds during the action parts, on top of looking like ass, don't really help in that regard. I understand it's cost-cutting, but I hope they do something to differentiate the setting soon, because as of now the whole thing reeks of a shoddy fusion of Symphogear and Precure and all the worse for it. Hopefully once the party is assembled they'll dive right into exposition or have a few breather episodes where they generally just hang out in Alicepia >"Official" guidelines against lewding the Princesses Getting mixed signals here

If it sticks around unquestioned as just a place the girls hop into to perform idol activities and magical action while keeping those things out of normal reality, it's going to drag down the show a lot. It's a good sign that some relevant questions have already been brought up in the previous episodes, now we'll just have to hope the answers take things in an interesting direction.

I didn't mind the asymmetry of the henshin, they look fine, but I was bothered by it mostly because Innocent Call was played over the entire segment. Poor Kagari was just there in the background and didn't get to sing at all. Maybe they'll do a specific joint transformation song once Ichijou joins the party, or maybe they'll dedicate future episodes transformation song to whatever Princess is most prominent in the episode?
