I just had a thought, one that I really don't like. So supposedly the swordmaster was the one Kunishige trusted the most, but wound up being the most unhinged. What is the datenseki used to make Magatsumi housed something similar to a "spirit of the land" which then possessed the swordmaster via the blade, and had some kind of longstanding grudge against humans. That would explain why the sword master needed to be sealed at all, and why Magatsumi is still trying to spew highly aesthetic flower fields all over.

Okay Kumeyuri is a pretty cool sword Not sure if I want her in Chihiro’s sword harem though, hmm.

I wish Hakuri didn't get put into coma, just straight up lost the storehouse ability but was otherwise fine. Could use the downtime while Chihiro is away on a mission to train him so he would actually be useful in fights next time. Seeing all the insane stuff Hiruhiko and Samura do with blades (or even how useful Iori can be with Iai) it's hard to imagine Hakuri contributing anything substantial in battles... Him getting one of the swords now seems impossible too.
