So far it has some moments but really not as good as the first season. There was more build up to the struggle and death and overcoming the obstacles in the way to success. This feels like we're stuck in a side quest before the main quest starts.

Dedicating an entire episode to Reinhardo's family with no primary characters appearing at all was a terrible idea. Everything thing else was pretty good until they went the sakuga route with pic related. What is that supposed to be?

Season 3 wasn't bad but when Return by Death isn't used the stakes feel so low. Even if RbD allows Subaru to fix everything, it also shows that the stuff he gets into is difficult to solve.
