>>33530 And that's all for the first chap.
>>33523 Ok I laughed at the cicada guy doing it too. I'll stick around for a couple more chapters.
>>33532 Thanks for the dump. I don't know what you call this kind of humour but I hate it, and it feels like it's all this magazine is getting nowadays. >>33503 Also, why is this kid named Dirty Taco?
This was so unfunny I just started skipping through it
This is trash
yeah this is DOA
This is so bizarre. Like, not even funny in a wacky way, just strange. It also skips all possible action scenes. I liked the spreads, maybe the mangaka should get a writer if he decides to make another series.
I don't like this name. It sounds stupid
>>33440 As bad as this is, the handcuff glasses made me laugh. What a retarded yet original idea.
Saito really looked at this shit and thought it's good enough for WSJ
Buffer for Beethoven.
>>35751 Jump is going through some dark times. For the first time in 10+ years I do not care about any jump spoilers.
>>36088 my theory is WSJ's working environment is pretty relentless that you must crank out a new chapter every week for a newbie until you got big enough to deserve a break. along with 'axed by 3 volumes if the sales are not good enough', no wonder many mangaka aren't that eager to get serialized in WSJ anymore.
>>36307 >my theory is WSJ's working environment is pretty relentless that you must crank out a new chapter every week for a newbie until you got big enough to deserve a break. Pretty sure that's just the case, but it somehow managed to work for them for like the past 50 years.
>>36307 That is how it's always been...
>>33435 this got a live action PV btw, they SERIOUSLY thought it'd be an automatic hit
>>36333 Yeah, but it's possible that authors are finally starting to realise they don't need to sleep 2 hours a day and die before they hit 60 to become successful, so there might be way less people seeking WSJ, because they can go somewhere where they will have more free time, freedom with their manga and won't have to rush the beginning just to survive, and still get a hit big enough that they won't have to worry about money ever again in their lives.
>>36386 I think people thought the industry was dying until recently, but the battle manga contest had a ton of entries
(19.80 KB 290x300 juugocringe.jpg)

This just seems like it's going to be Nanbaka without the charm. I'll give it a chance, though.
>>36386 yeah, other magazine has a more lax schedule, that gyaru hag manga has only produced 1 volume so far and the sales aren't that great, with the author having been radio silent for more than a year and it's still not axed
>>36386 I mean just look how many hiatuses Frieren, Kaihen and Conan are having by being in Sunday.
this shit is getting axed instantly i'm calling it
>>33524 Gamefreak lawyers are on the way.
>>38903 it might survive long enough in current jump to pull another reborn!
The Japanese love this retards
I laughed but this is objectively terrible, and I will not be sad to see it axed (or to just never see it again)
>>33435 Reading this now. They advertised this author in the double spread as having 300 mil X impressions and 10 mil X likes. I wonder if his social media presence will save this manga.
Holy shit this has me laughing on every page. Not sure how good the TL is, only reading in Japanese but this is really good. It has multiple gags on every page and is super creative. This is the best first chapter I've read in maybe 10 years. Holy shit. My predictions tend to be right. I'm calling it, this survives at least 2 years (IF the next couple of chapters don't suddenly go to shit.)
Holy shit I fucking LOST it at the lemon, lime, ball combo
The last page reminds me of the ending of Bobobo's first chapter Anyway this is the best gag manga since saiki. Heck, since Gintama. Holy shit. Let's go.
