Makes you wonder how long they plan on going with this series if they're incorporating time skips. Probably won't be as drastic as reaching adulthood or something but it's nice to see the characters actually getting older.

>>57418 Judging from the teraleaks the timeskip was planned from the begining and was planned to be the mid series climax and mark the end of part 1 of the series. I think they will get the boot once gen 10 rolls around. This year will just be ZA and gen 10 will come out late fall mid winter 2026 and horizons will wrap up end 2026/early 2027 depending on how early into the year the gen 10 game comes out. This will give them another 80ish episode for the timeskip.
