Have you ever received damaged manga from Amazon? Anonymous 04/24/2025 (Thu) 22:49:12 Id: f667de No. 55388
I've ordered manga from Amazon before and it almost always arrives damaged. I ordered the Bleach boxset twice and both times the box the manga is in was dented and creased and I sent it back and I've ordered individual manga volumes and they are almost always damaged

>>55388 Yes, creasing sucks. Maybe it's better to go to a physical book store, but I'm also paranoid about people touching books with dirty hands
>>55388 Not really, but I prefer going physically to Barnes&Noble for my manga buying though.
>>55388 I have bought some so yes, their shipping of manga is a toss of a coin because I've received manga in a box along with bubble wrap and also manga in some sort of vacuumed cardboard envelope that has no real protection aside from whatever plastic the book had. B&N has been the same after they started using Lasership for my area with them also doing the same shit or using a bubblewrapped shipping envelope when before they used to ship stuff in actual boxes. Also believe it or not Walmart also sells manga and funny enough they also sell doujins and some eromanga if you want to go for it however it all depends on the source, if it's shipped directly from Walmart it will be in the same cardboard envelope however if it comes from other sellers and Walmart is only fulfilling the shipping then there's a high chance it will be fine.
>>55388 Amazon is well known for sending used or damaged goods for the full price. Just buy from an actual book store online they are often cheaper too.
