NTR Anonymous 04/29/2025 (Tue) 15:55:10 Id: fceb98 No. 62813
Your thoughts when you see NTR in anime/manga? Yesterday I went into a current season anime blind (Ore wa Seikan Kokka no Akutoku Ryoshu!) and the first episode reminded me why I still despise netorare. >Episode 1 >MC loves his wife and daughter >works hard to support his family >his boss forces him to work overtime at this black company >turns out the MC's wife was fucking his boss for 10 years >MC's daughter isn't even his biological child. Real father is the boss >wife always shit-talked MC behind his back and thought very little of him >she also prefers the boss's superior genes & money >she doesn't feel bad about cheating at all >daughter also likes "the other daddy better" and not the MC >when MC confronts wife about her cheating, she is remorseless and acts like he deserved it >meanwhile, the boss embezzles money from the company and frames MC for it >wife uses this untrue scandal to divorce MC, takes full custody of the kid, and MC is forced to pay child support >MC gets dirt poor because the wife saddled him with all the debt >he gets sick and dies from working backbreaking construction jobs >meanwhile wife and boss are living in luxury from the embezzled money >they laugh at how badly they treated MC Like, yeah, the wife and boss do get karmic retribution in episode 2. Boss got arrested and jailed for life. The devastated wife "never found happiness again" because she couldn't live the rich life anymore (and the 2 guys who financially supported her are dead or arrested). And yeah, MC does reincarnate as a powerful ruler with a loyal robot girl onahole. But all the NTR shit is still unforgivable. If you add NTR to any story, it's a radioactive element that makes the whole thing bad. So yeah, I drop NTR shit whenever I see it.
So, it just the umbrella term for a lot of existing things... a neologism
>>62813 this one is pretty good isekai though. The NTR influenced him to never trust women ever again (from the light novels)
Any NTR where the guy is a piece of shit and deserves to get netorareed? Doesn’t have to happen to an MC.
>>62813 I don’t like it because it’s boring They drag it out for far too long Moral obscenity is a useful plot device, but not an interesting one. Once someone has crossed the final lines of morality they no longer have a moral journey, and I don’t care how much deeper they sink, because the way I feel about them can no longer change. Once I want to murder someone it’s over, the character only exists as either a plot devices or a source of catharsis

My feelings have changed over the years. I used to dislike all ntr on principle, but as I lost patience for romcom protags,I have largely become okay with those guys getting netorareed. Girls getting netorareed is always funny, though. >>62823 Broadly speaking I guess all those isekai where the hero kicks mc out of the party and then mc seduces his party with his cheat skills.
Unrequited love has been a storytelling element since ancient times. Getting your love stolen or rejected is painful for any human which is why it always elicits a reaction. When done well, it can make for tragic kino. The issue with Japanese NTR 90% of the time is that it’s just a cheap plot device like the other anon said for forced drama. If romance MCs grew balls after getting netorareed and moved on, it would be better but japs have them remain pathetic
>>62839 you mean this one? best kind of NTR
This is why I always make 1 post in series with netorare shit to warn other anons But in this anime it is not needed as the MC is rewarded in the end. OP some series do need this shit to start, is like in the Montecristo story, you need pain to start the story.
Can't stand it, makes me physically uncomfortable
It's strange. I recently found out a favorite NTR artist of mine is gay. What the hell is that about? Are you a woman hater or are you gay because you hate women? I feel betrayed, man. like I was being brainwashed by someone who had no stake on the matter at all.
>>62949 Who?
I find it strange that this isekai protag can literally genocide entire space fleets of people. But somehow, he is still less evil than the unfaithful slut who ruined his life for 10 years.

>>62991 Men=Good Women=Evil Simple as.
He is just killing pirates or other rival nobles ships
>>63001 >other rival nobles ships Aren't the ships full of human soldiers and crew? The premise of the show is that the mc is tired of being decent, because there was no rewards in it, so he's going to be evil and do whatever he wants, which is a complete misunderstanding of morality and what good people are like. Very hard to like or sympathize with the guy.
>>62813 (OP) In unnamed memory's first season, there's an episode with a wife whose husband sacrificed himself to save her during a barbarian raid. Later on in the same episode, she's reunited with the killer, who just happens to be younger, fitter, browner than her former husband, and immediately falls in love with him. Moments later, she goes on to elope with him and abandon the refugee kids she'd been caring for, despite never having spoken a word to the killer chad. This is the most egregious ntr I've ever seen, and I dropped the show right there. Never watched another episode. Apparently, this is a pretty common fantasy for women, to have their husband be killed by a more masucline man and getting to fuck him.
>>62952 Just curious about who is the gay men you talk about, thought it was an interesting post
>>63004 That one is netorareshit from the start, the heroine is used goods
>>62949 Ntr is literally gay porn by proxy - the story is not about a woman being broken, it's about a man breaking another man. A woman is only an excuse, the real story is about men fucking each other
>>62949 >I feel betrayed, man. like I was being brainwashed by someone who had no stake on the matter at all. topkek >>63160 Lol, surely you don't believe the bs you're spouting there,it is all setup for womens being sluts. There isn't any need to find a roundabout way to insult people who enjoy ntr, they do that perfectly by themselves
Now you are going to say that martial arts manga is homosexual too >baki I see
>>62813 as a plot device, the point is to make it clear that MC was wronged, so as long as it's appropriately treated as a bad thing then I think it "fits" as a way to add drama or tragedy. That being said, I basically agree with >>62859. it personally makes me so uncomfortable that I just don't want to watch any series with it, regardless of it being fitting or not >>62844 wouldn't that count as netori?
>>62813 I hate the changes they made from the web novel. First they made his best friend into a okama, and next they made him lament on how democracy is great, when in the original he hated it.
>>63504 >best friend into a okama >lament on how democracy is great The first one is weird but I can picture it, but what does the second even mean? Like, does he shake his fist at the sky and go 'Curse you, democracy! Why are you so good?'
>>62813 I am indifferent to it. To me it's like when feet or armpits or bellies are shown off - I register that the extended screentime is meant to provide fetish material for people who are not me. I'm neither aroused nor angered by the fetish element in particular, I feel nothing. On occassion, I'll fap to such works the same as I do any other work with sex in it. The claim about NTR artists being better on average is pretty dubious to me, they seem no better or worse than so-called "vanilla" artists on average. The fact that I'm almost completely indifferent to it while everyone else seems to lose their minds makes me wonder if there's something wrong with me.
>>62813 But I don't see NTR in anime and manga? It's normally a really clumsy attempt from the author's side to be edgy and justify his MC being a complete insufferable asshole further on in the story, and happens in the very first chapter.
>>63492 >it is all setup for womens being sluts You don't need a setup for that, you can just have them be sluts. If it's about the woman, then why does NTR ever feature the relationship between two men, let alone frequently fixate on it? This is just like when NTRfags claim they self-insert as the bull when 99% of it is from the perspective of the netorare. >There isn't any need to find a roundabout way to insult people who enjoy ntr, they do that perfectly by themselves Falseflagging NTRfags failing to refute the accusations as usual.
There’s NTR as fetish material used by hacks and genuine tragic romance storytelling. A lot of people have NTR paranoia and see it everywhere even when there isn’t any. A male character that isn’t the MC talking to the main female is considered NTR nowadays. These people would not be able to handle love rivals in classic romance stories of the past
It's good to know KonaSoba author was smart enough to not even hint at an NTR subplot.
>>62991 Betraying your loved ones is worse than killing random people
