It was a mix of experimental animations, showcases, and benchmarks. Yet I couldn't remember it being made use of thereafter. Then finding Yamadeloid again, it seems they did pick things up- CGI poorly mimicking 2D Fighters turn into orbs of light fly through the air bouncing off one another as the feature fight Adobe Aftereffects fireworks
