100th episode of Pokemon Horizons airs tonight. It's been a consistently solid anime these past 2 years. I've enjoyed it more than any ashnime season.

>>70504 This anime has 3 protagonists. Well, more like 4 now in the latest arc. Liko is a polite girl who is kind and caring. Roy is the waku waku genki battler. Dot is the antisocial hikikomori hacker. Dot grew the most in character development (becoming less antisocial), followed by Liko (became more confident & capable). Roy... pretty much stayed the same Ash-lite character with no growth. To be fair, Roy stopped being annoying after the timeskip... because the 4th protag Uruto (loud, rude, obnoxious) fills that role now. So yeah, Pokemon has become Digimon by doing the multiple protagonists approach. Anyways, the 100th episode will air in 20 minutes from now. See ya.

Why watch a pokémon anime? What about the inclusion of highly marketable animal characters benefits the animation itself? It sounds like a franchise carried solely by inertia
