Rhythm Game thread 名無し 04/23/2025 (Wed) 11:24:14 Id: e68cc7 No. 2146
Thread for discussion of Japanese arcane rhythm games including but not limited to IIDX, SDVX, DDR, Taiko, Chunithm, etc What have you been playing?
Recently beat my first 20 with MAYHEM. It took me 3 months to start beating 18s, then another full year to beat 19s, and another full year to scrape by this. Cheers to another year when I beat my second 20. Also fuck Konami for taking down so many youtube videos of their games. Neardayo's channel got taken down entirely at this point and I am having trouble finding hand shot clears now. What's even the point?
What are controllers people these days buy for SDVX / KSM? Some years ago I was very interested in buying one to play the game but never had the funds to do so. Is YuanCon still what people seem to gravitate towards?
I have the FAUCETWO with japanese switches. I am really happy with it even if it's expensive for what it is. Supposedly the knobs on yuancons wear out, I haven't had any issues with my faucetwo. It came in a well packaged shipping box and actually had its own product box, which doesn't always happen for these custom controllers. Works out of the box for KSM and works with SDVX after you toggle to analog input.
>>2174 Is the difference between Japanese and Chinese switches really as big as the price tag makes it seem?
wait im retarded its the buttons that are stupid expensive, not the switches.
i've been getting walled pretty hard in taiko tbh. i think i need to start playing osu taiko just to have more charts to grind >>2156 if you're in the us gamo2 has some sdvx controllers in their us warehouse so it's actually cheaper to get a faucetwo than yuancon atm. though. i really like all the controllers i've gotten from yuan so far though.
>>2275 Unfortunately I am not, though regardless Yuan shipping to here is about 80 euros so its likely still cheaper.
