>why should I listen to your (the royal you) music specifically
You can't really associate quality with posters, since it's an anonymous imageboard. You can attribute quality to the thread itself by the people that frequently post there.
Funnily enough, I think social media algorithms have a higher chance of showing me something I'd be more into, but it's way more fun to see what other people are hearing and reading them go on on why they like it.
>there is little discussion on the actual producers themselves
That's because in Vocaloid music the main appeal are the voicebanks themselves. I usually think that producers used said voicebanks to voice what they were feeling, but songs that end up being popular or having "cultural significance" are ones that talk from the own voicebank's POV, with the only window to the producer's feelings are shown is in the tone of the song.
When this is the entire appeal of this style of music, instrument or however you categorize Vocaloid as, it's very hard for producers to be appealing for themselves.
>I would like artists to be labeled along side song titles
You could even go further and provide a short description to make people know what they're getting into would be greatly appreciated, like "heavily dmc inspired en v3 miku song by tommy", but it seems like posts may get too wordy and I enjoy the appeal of having a bunch of songs I know nothing about and giving them a fair shot.
It's extra work, so of course if you're limited on time or would rather focus on music from producers you already follow, you wouldn't be interested, but it's just one of multiple ways of discovering songs and artists.
The problem could also just be that embeds /here/ don't support showing the video's title. That should do the trick!
