>>12356 (OP) Sold mine off a few years ago but I did enjoy it for the short time I had it. .38 Super is such a great cartridge.
Im picking up a Tisas service special next week im pretty exited. Itll be my first 1911 :)
>>12356 (OP) It's hard to take the thread seriously when the OP is off topic
>>12387 Says the nogunz fag.

>>12371 >>12371 I just got one as my first 1911 and it's super fucking fun to shoot. The thing is so dead simple too. Crazy how heavy it is though my only experience being with polymer frames.
>>12394 Hell yah brother, happy for you I have a full size M&P .45 and a Beretta 92...something bout the Berettas weight in my hand just feels right
Are we really getting one sentence engagement threads already?
>>12432 what's the difference between us made and italian made berettas? I got a 92FS too but mine was made in italy.
>>12432 I can't tell, is that a straight frame or curved frame 92? Personally I find the straight frame more aesthetically pleasing

>>12371 it should serve you well anon. I got a Tisas Raider 9mm as my first 1911 and have enjoyed it a ton. Im thinking ill pick up a Tisas commander 9mm before tariffs hit them and they jump in price, just in case. Tisas 1911s are a crazy deal rn and I dont want to say I missed out because I only got 1 bad clone tisas
>>12638 >tarrifs Yah the fear tariffs is what i used in my mind to justify the purchase lol Nice gun btw
>>12494 Curved frame?...i wasnt aware there was a distinction...its just a plain ole beretta 92
(680.09 KB 1224x919 M9_log3.jpg)

>>12746 its a curved frame 92, which was introduced later on(after the adoption of the M9) in order to reinforce the frame for 40S&W as there were some frame cracking issues with that caliber in the beretta. This change wasnt applied to the M9 due to it having a TDP that isnt easy to change, also the fact it wasnt necessary. Older italian made 92s will have the straight frame, but newer ones all have the curved frame. US made 92s can have either or, as the production line for the M9 is still going so sometimes they sub in the straight frame for the 92s sometimes. If you want a guaranteed straight frame though, you can pick up a commercial M9 which is what I did. Just a bit of autism, but I do think the straight frame looks a little better. Most people dont notice the difference but are always struck with a "this looks off" thought by the curved frame
