What is your most simple carry gun? Strelok 11/19/2023 (Sun) 08:06:16 No. 3670
I'm tried of seeing the dudes who lug around entire glock 17s, extended mag, comped, new trigger, big red dots, and a light. I enjoy simplicity.
>>3670 Nothing wrong with enjoying simplicity through snub nose appreciation. Is that a custom or a mass produced holster? Also >spured hammer >no wad cutter projectiles >speed loader instead of superior speed strips
For everyday tasks anything more than a compact single-stack or DOA snubnose is overkill. If a group of niggers or other hoodlums approach you shooting one will make them disperse. >>3671 Moon clips may need a recess engraved in the cyclinder depending on the model of gun.
>>3672 But strelok, speed strips are not moonclips. But speaking of moonclips, couldn't you use trimmed down 5.56 cases instead of proper .357 or .38 Special with them?
>>3671 Speed strips are more easy to carry but speed loaders are much faster.
>>3674 Theoretically they're faster at reloading the entire cylinder, however speed strips are more versatile than speed loaders. They're light, flexible, and flat enough they wont create a conspicuous bulge while carrying it in your pocket, which means you can carry more. Speed strips are enherently easier to conceal, but more importantly can be loaded with a greater level of control. Although they're faster on all chambers you must drop the speed loader into all the chambers in order to make a reload, an issue a speed strip does not have.

>>12186 >FIE Titan Everything I've read about is so mixed I don't know who to believe. I really want to like it. How many rounds have you put through it and is it a steel framed one or later non-magnetic alloy?

>>12315 >How many rounds Me personally ~100. No idea what the once removed previous enterprising individual put through it, but the bore was good so I'm guessing not that much. >steel framed one or later non-magnetic alloy? The shitter one. Funnily enough, the frame is totally fine but the slide has a crack. I would be concerned, however I lack the self preservation to care. I got it off my buddy for $70 and a pack of beer. Apparently sat in his grandads drawer for 30 or 40 years, before then it was pre-owned. I really like it, incredibly fun to shoot. It's accurate enough, last time I went and shot it I was still landing shots close enough at ~15 yards for it to be considered nigger killing. Honestly, it's worth buying imo. Worst case scenario, you lose ~$100 bucks on a coffee table ornament. Even then, just replace the broken bits with the 3 billion parts still laying around on ebay somehow.
I've got a Colt Detective Special for carry but it's got a busted firing pin and has been stuck at the shop waiting on a new firing pin for repairs for weeks now sadly

>>3670 340PD directly into my (flesh) pocket
depends on the clothing. I pocket carry a khar mk9 in the summer, i made a kydex mag holster that carries two 7 round mags in the other front pocket. not very heavy, balanced out, feels good. could have gone with a poly 9mm but i really enjoy shooting the full metal gun, way more controlled follow up shots imo. if i'm going running i have a glock26 in a chest fanny pack thing and a spare g19 mag in the bag too. spring and fall is a glock 19 iwb 4oclock with a spare 24rnder in the opposite front pocket. if i'm out late I have a tlr8 on it in an apendix holster with another 19 mag in it as well. winter is anything from a 44mag 4", glock 34, or all of the above at once. because why not.

>>12641 That's a pretty piece anon, I hope she comes back in one piece soon. I don't have any good pics of my beat to hell carry revolver except this joke one I took. Might try to clean it up a bit and take a nice pic some day.
