>>22069 download godot click 2d right click > add node here > button right click > create label > resize label right click label in inspector (on the left) > add script go back to the 2d view again. click on the button, on the right side at the top right click node then click pressed() on the bottom right, click connect connect it to the label it should create a basic connection in the script in there write: Text = "You just lost the game" now you can play the game. hope this helps

I honestly have stopped gamedevving as I used to. I don't know, but it just feels insanely hard to get into it again. Was going from 2d development to 3d development with Godot and now it's just insanely daunting to do some basic bitch game that would be a flashgame in the 00s
