Haven't visited /lit/ in a long time, but here. Maybe 8chan's /lit/ and /g/ will be decent, but I'm not holding my breath.

I feel like 4chan was one of those things you don't really actively want until you can't have it. I've been going since 2009. I was only 12 years old in 2009, that's literally most of my life browsing off and on. As retarded and shitty as it's gotten in that time, the rest of the internet is immeasurably worse. I was too young to ever really get into niche IRCs and places like that so it was the first and mostly the last place where people with autistic levels of interest in something would post seriously about it, actively gatekeep faggots away from their hobbies, and not have an account with a reputation to worry about. >>705 /lit/ was already about as slow as a board could be while still having some semblance of a community. I'll be honest, I'd rather not splinter an already small community. I have no idea - so far - which would be best to gather in, maybe that could be the topic of this thread? If so, I'd like scribes here to consider one thing: are the administrators and mod team trustworthy? Never thought I'd see the day 2^2 chan would go down. Yet here we are. Maybe it can be for good? A chance to start anew with better software and better mods.

This place seems to be the liveliest alt for now.
