I enjoy reading The Wandering Inn and I'm bloody not fraid to admit it. No, I don't want to read your fantasy novels written in the 80s. Simple as.
>>843 (OP) It's padded drama slop for women if you're gonna read webnovel slop at least read something decent like guide to evil or mother of learning or something
>>846 I'm not a woman but I grew up with two sisters and regularly watched romance anime with them as a kid thinking there was nothing wrong with it at all so my tastes are probably skewed. I just like the slice of sloppa alongside the emotional scenes paba writes. I also read Chinese sloppa. I am basically a racoon gorging itself on garbage. PGTE is great. Haven't touched MoL yet because I'm not a fan of timeloop stories.
>>843 (OP) Me too, but I want to read it on my device and all the scrapers are broken. Maybe I have to wait until the ebooks catch up, but that's going to take forever >>846 >for women oh no how terrible, your poor balls are going to shrivel
>>843 (OP) Literally who/what? >>848 Watching anime with your sisters of all people is certainly… ballsy, for your parents to allow. What are their tastes like these days?
>>843 (OP) I want more Ryoka lesbian harem action >>884 there is nothing wrong with watching ecchi sibling incest anime, while cuddling with your little sis/big bro.

>>843 (OP) Sell me the Wandering Inn. What does it have over 80s fantasy novels?
>48hrs >61hrs >37hrs WHY SO LONG? It takes less time to listen through entire series than a single Wandering Inn audiobook!
>>843 (OP) I too, love wandering in, it has such a comfy feeling. Do you have any recommendation for other novels that are like that? (The only other one I know is "Beware Of Chicken") >>893 If you like lesbo harem, I can highly recommend "Katalepsis" and "Necroepilogos".
>>906 reading is faster. But the length is a good thing. I like going back to my series every evening and dive back in. It is my anchor lmao >>907 thanks, I have Katalepsis on my reading list, but I didn't know about Necroepilogos

>>884 >What are their tastes like these days They don't watch it anymore. We would watch stuff like azumanga, fruitsbasket and sailor moon though. >>901 It is not completely unique in any specific way. It's just a slice of life epic fantasy novel with shit tons of characters and points of view. It's comfy sometimes but makes you cry at other times. >>907 I've looked far and wide and have not found anything that I'd recommend as similar. I agree that Beware of Chicken scratches the itch somewhat though. >>893 >Ryoka lesbian harem How about Ulvama harem action instead?
>>910 I tried Beware of Chicken, because I love chickens and i saw it recommended by pirateaba multiple times, but it was so boring I just dropped it. Does it get better? Maybe I just don't like the genre
>>929 It starts quite slow. Eventually it builds up until the farm is something more akin to the inn in the sense that it attracts many people and becomes a central place for the story to unfold. It's somewhat enjoyable, but it does not make me feel anything. Reading it is like eating popcorn. I think what makes TWI more appealing is that it is a happy slice of life mixed with existential horrors and widespread death. There is that tension of "when will things go wrong again?" throughout the novel. The tension is real. Meanwhile I cant think of a single important character that died in BoC. They always last minute power up and survive every obstacle, and those obstacles are quite mundane (rival sect, random evil cultivator etc). Any tension the author tries to build is empty and just makes me roll my eyes and wait for them to start doing farm stuff again.
>>941 Aww too bad. I want something that I can't put down, like Worm or TWI
>>909 I don't understand why would you spend so much time on a single series instead of trying to expand.
>>955 it's hard to find something good, so I'm glad if the thing I found isn't just over after a day of reading
