Graduation probably mitigated a bit of this. Also, the holoEN audience for EN1/2 is kind of "special" in the sense that lockdowns were a thing, so their audiences had a lot more "normies". With lockdowns over, their lives would have progressed, so Nimi's progressing with them might actually be a positive(?).
The "normal" vtuber audience is probably more ambivalent though and given the holo and ex-holo boxes, there are streamers to substitute Nimi for. There's also JP and post-Advent side if that audience doesn't vibe.
Ultimately though, it'll depend on how much Nimi includes this in her content and how much her audience likes talking about it. Sometimes it doesn't matter what the streamer does, the community affects the "genre" too.
