I can't get off the feeling that the "Sir?" was to Bane and not to CIA. That's why he didn't used his gun.

So I just did some reading on this plane, and my sides are in orbit. Turns out the plane featured in the movie crashed in 2013 with no survivors. The company that owned it at the time? Batair. As well a piece of movie trivia: during practice for the aerial scenes, one of the actors playing a henchman of Bane had a parachute malfunction and fell through the roof of a home. You could say he didn't fly so good.
