Big Guy 10/18/2018 (Thu) 05:36:05 No. 143236
Why would someone shoot a man before throwing him out of a plane anyways?
(2.16 MB 376x204 Face-Off baneposting.gif)

>>143236 It was purely to confuse Bane. And it worked, leaving him wondering why someone would shoot a man before throwing him out of a plane. This confuses Bane so much that he tells Brother to stay on the crashing plane, thinking that they expect one of them in the wreckage. Of course this makes no sense, because CIA in fact was not shooting anyone OR throwing them out of the plane, meaning that he lied about the flight plan he just filed with the agency, and that it really listed himself, his men, and ALL of the hired guns. But Bane was so busy wondering why someone would shoot a man before throwing him out of a plane that he sacrificed one of his own men, weakening his own numbers, for no reason. Of course later, the agency would find the plane and realize the wrong number of bodies were aboard regardless, since it was still missing the rest of the hired guns. CIA outsmarted Bane.
>>143237 Bravo Nolan
>>143236 He never intended to. Bane didn't realize that CIA was firing at his henchmen still on the ground.
(1.83 MB 1920x1080 2,33.png)

>>143237 The way I understood it was that CIA never actually filed a flight plan because they'd be beyond the range of the agency, so they had extras on board but nobody knew. Now there is still two major problems, the first being that CIA should be able to file a flight plan anywhere at any time with like a satellite phone and also that Dr. Pavel must have dental records so even once the plane crashes and the fire rises you should still be able to compare dental records. Bane spends a lot of time getting blood out of Pavel into a corpse but then why is Brother necessary? If CIA filed a flight plan then Pavel and three Mercenaries would be known to be on board. If CIA didn't file flight plan then only Pavel would be on board. WHY LEAVE BROTHER ON THE PLANE? >>143236 Another conundrum I've always had is why is it that when Bane's men outside of the plane start shooting into it, why does two of CIA's henchmen start beating up the two other handcuffed guys? Shouldn't they be attacking the people shooting at them?
>>143250 Maybe CIA had some sort of counter-plan to defeat Bane's master plan?
How did bane keep from his breathing before he said it, Is he really good at holding it?
>>143250 >If CIA filed a flight plan then Pavel and three Mercenaries would be known to be on board. If CIA didn't file flight plan then only Pavel would be on board. >WHY LEAVE BROTHER ON THE PLANE? The only explanation is that Bane was confused. He was so busy wondering why someone would shoot a man before throwing him out of a plane that he never considered the implication that CIA must have been lying about the flight plan he just filed with the agency.
No, you've all got it wrong. WIthout thinking much of it, CIA shot his gun so to threaten them, but he was on a plane, he wouldn't have done that if he really was planning on throwing them out. Because of this, he immediately outed himself to Bane and his henchmen, allowing them to keep their cool as to not spill anything. But of course, Bane had already planned invading the plane beforehand, and knew this would happen, it just served as a confirmation.
>>143262 I guess he truly believed that CIA had filed a flight plan with only one of the three of them on board. If CIA had said the flight plan listed two or all three would he have left that many on the plane? If so, then can it be said CIA was truly in control of that part of the plan but didn't know so? Further if CIA was really going to shoot and or throw two of the mercenaries off the plan leaving one living why didn't he just do that. How could it even be speculated that CIA would want 1 of the 3 mercenaries anyway, any counter-terrorist organization would be fine having more prisoners.

>>143285 >If so, then can it be said CIA was truly in control of that part of the plan but didn't know so? No, he knew. CIA was very sure during the entire operation that he was in charge here.
>>143236 To make sure he’s dead, I suppose.
>>143236 To make him feel agonizing pain as he falls. Shoot him in the shoulder. Its more torturous.
So you get credit for the kill, of course. If the guy just falls off de_plane it counts as a suicide. If you shoot them and then they fall to their death, you get credit for the kill.
CIA said "Get them on board; I'll call it in." So there WAS a flight plan filed. However what we don't know is if calling it in as one or three guests was a bluff or not. Bane assumed it was not, however the way in which CIA says it makes me think it was.
>>143614 The fact that CIA was bluffing about throwing them out of the aircraft tells me he did intend to keep them all alive, therefore the flight plan must have been filed for all three and Bane made an error when he only left one in the wreckage. CIA got the upper hand.
>>143292 >Dr. Pavel, I'm Wilson Doesn't have the same ring to it.
>>143237 >>143250 >>143262 >>143285 Many of these anons hit on Bane's apparent confusion, but I think it goes deeper than that. Lets examine the parts of the plane scene CIA appears in when talking to the masketta man to start. Looking through the scene it becomes apparent that CIA thinks something is up with the hooded prisoners. You see it in his body language with how he shakes his head when masketta man is talking. He clearly doesn't buy masketta's story, and smells a rat. Further more when Maketta tells CIA about the masked man he exclaims "BANE!" putting his entire body in the word. He shocked at the very idea of bane being a part of this, but why? This in itself is strange, but it gets even stranger when CIA then calls Ittin who we have already established as being CIA's contact with Agent C, and brings the hooded prisoners on board. Why would he do this? It doesn't make any sense if CIA already suspects this is some kind of elaborate master plan. I was confused by this, but after listening to Bane, and CIA's conversation when he is unmasked I think I might have an idea why. Notice how when CIA unmasks bane already suspecting who it is CIA very carefully removes the mask. This seems odd unless you come to the conclusion (which should be obvious to the initiated) that CIA, and Bane already know each other. This would explain why CIA was so shocked when he heard of Bane's involvement. Clearly they have some kind of history, and a close one at that considering how CIA treats bane with a sort of reverence. After doing some digging I also found this image of Bane, and CIA at what appears to be a remote mountain retreat. This only adds more questions to an already bizarre mystery, but where is this mountain retreat? After carefully reviewing the plane scene I have come to the conclusion that CIA also known as Bill Wilson was part of the League of Shadows. My evidence for this is given by Bane himself when he is fighting Batman in the sewers. Bane states "Theatricality and deception are powerful agents…to the uninitiated. But we are initiated, aren't we, Bruce? The League of Shadows. And you betrayed us…". Remember when I said how CIA was quick to catch the deception in the opening scene? Clearly he is initiated, or he would not have noticed anything was amiss. This would also explain CIAs cavalier attitude towards Bane as they all clearly very close perhaps even good friends since the collapse of the League of Shadows. Notice how CIA asks his questions in such a way to set Bane up for witty one liners. The exchange "You're a big guy." followed by "For You." makes Bane look humble compared to what his reputation would suggest. Watching the rest of the scene only deepens the mystery of exactly what CIA, and Bane were trying to accomplish. For example Bane's attempts to make it look like the plane crashed with no survivors would never work because the black box recorder would show everything that happened up till the crash. People would already be on to him immediately, and destroying the recorder would only make Agent C suspect foul play more. Bane's actions during this scene show that despite his master plan he wasn't prepared for CIA's meddling, and likely panicked when he told wreckage brother to stay behind. One of the few scenes we see Bane lose his composure. So there you have it Bane panicked, and had to improvise, but what about CIA? After close examination of the evidence I have come to the conclusion that CIA brought Bane onto the plane for questioning because Bane had information of something he wanted, but would could it be? I was at a loss to explain this, but then I remembered the final scenes of the movie. Batman flies out with the nuclear device, and it detonates out at sea. There was no way Batman could have escaped, and we see his altar ego's grave stone later. However we see just a few minutes later he was in fact alive. There could only be one thing that could bring him back to life after being killed, and the league of shadows lead by one Ra's al ghul. It hit my like a plane crash the Lazarus pit! Clearly that was what CIA was after, and probably Agent C as well. After being killed in the plane crash CIA's body must have been recovered by Agent, and from what little information he could glean from the recordings found the Lazarus pit, and used it to revive CIA. Why he revived Bruce Wayne is anyone's guess, but I think it was probably a contingency in the event that he needed to end Bane's master plan. From this we can assume CIA is alive, and with agent C. Not only that he is in possession of Bane, and by proxy Bane's master plan as well as the key to immortality. The clues are scant, but they are there. All I can say is Bravo Nolan.
>>143260 Bane wasn't under the hood beforehand. It was another supervillian called "The Hood", who has the power to appear like other villains after a prolonged time of concealing his appearance with his characteristic hood. Bane was never on that plane.
>>143622 I skimmed this post, but are you saying that CIA set Bane up to fail?
>>143638 It's not so much he set bane up, but that CIA clearly had an ulterior motive for letting Bane on the flight plan.

Or perhaps she's wondering why you'd comfort a woman before throwing her out of a moon door?
>>143236 So they don't latch on to CIA and bring him down as well. >>143250 >If CIA filed a flight plan then Pavel and three Mercenaries would be known to be on board. No, why?
