I remember I think sometime during the attitude era something involving DX and someone wearing their shirt underneath some other shirt and by removing the one shirt they showed their true allegiance to another group. Can anyone find the video of that? Seeing this YT comment made me remember this but I can't seem to turn it up. Is there a name for the trope? I feel like I've seen it done many times in wrestling, probably as a tribute to the first time, but the details are blurry.

We should have a thread for discussing moments when announcers and commentators calling the matches say dumb shit that makes no sense. I'll get the ball rolling for this one. Jeff Cobb is doing a stalled inverted hold before suplexing a guy (classic move, to disorient them so they aren't prepared to take the suplex) and announcer asks Cobb's upcoming opponent ROH Champ Matt Taven if he's prepared for that. Taven makes a logical response: he trains on an inversion table for long periods, so this doesn't bother him. Announcer then says "I don't think an inversion table is any match for a man with this strength" Segway made no sense: Cobb isn't wrestling an inversion table, Cobb isn't lifting an inversion table. It's merely a training device used to get used to a stressful position. This would be like if you asked a wrestler "could you lift this guy off your chest with your arms? He weighs 300 pounds!" and you respond "I bench a 400 pound barbell" and announcer says "I DONT THINK A BARBELL IS A MATCH FOR A MAN OF THIS STRENGTH" This guy should be retired, get some ex-wrestlers to replace him, they tend to call matches much better and deserve the spot more.

Are guys like zack ryder, tyler breeze or revival the ultimate cucks? They think so highly of themselves and at the same time beg for chances like "g-guys were good wrestlers, just wait till our turn comes…" while they perfectly know their time will never come. Why do they stay in the company, isn't betting on yourself and your own improvement more important than just getting a paycheck? Ryder should have left after vince sabotaged his popularity but he has no balls, a true cuck. Revival will keep whining and pleading to watch their matches on fucking main event. Breeze is "just happy to be there :)". People like them get nothing and deserve nothing. I feel it was a rib at them when they wrote that "fuck all these complacent superstarts who are just happy with what they get and never reach out for more" promos for Drew who is epitome of going away from wwe and improving so hard they want him back, protect him really hard and even considered putting him in that crown jewel UC match to make it triple threat (rumor via swole jew iirc). Seriously, this Uncaged release is dogshit. 12 tracks instead of the usual 16, and two of those are brand new which goes against the whole point of the Uncaged albums. Malenko's theme hasn't been remastered, Lesnar's first theme is an earlier version than the one they used in the ring, Ringmaster's theme is a shitty remake because they lost the original, Nash and Masters' themes can be and probably have been ripped from the PS2 games long ago and who the fuck wanted Droz's or Essa Rios' themes? The only things of worth on the whole album is the DX 2000 theme, Lex Luger's 1993 theme with the failed "Made in the USA" gimmick that only started because Hogan's departure left a noticeable void in the roster, and HHH's jobber theme when he was a part of The Corporation. Everything else is unwanted trash. Write what you want to see for Uncaged V onwards ITT please.
