seems like things are getting interesting in JCW tomorrow.

Seems like this might be a replacement for Lunacy for this week but I have a feeling they're going to air the next batch of episodes beginning next week.

Granted, in this scenario I also would've booked Cody to win because why the fuck would you not have your face win at Mania, and also not have a literal fucking fan with super money show up to make YOUR MEGA FACE LOSE THE MATCH. This whole feud has been so fucking stupid and it just seems like WWE just wants to keep diving their face in the money, pretend critics don't exist, and just treat their audience like idiots. And with a crowd like Vegas: are they even wrong to do so?

THEN you'd blame H for not figuring out a way to make this shit into something worthwhile, but it's hard to say how much input he really had on this. I don't think the guy who outmaneuvered Dwayne and his writers at the 2024 Rumble to force Cody back into the spotlight, who rejected the heel angle for Cody presented by Dwayne himself, unironically wanted Cena to win at Mania. He probably was pressured by the board, sating Cena's ego or some other stupid reason or backstage politics/shenanigans. I personally wholeheartedly reject a heel Cena winning his 17th just because it's at Mania, it dirties his character's legacy and the integrity of the face/heel dynamic in wrestling and what Wrestlemania is: a celebration of wrestling itself while projecting itself onto the face of the company. This whole thing is fucking stupid.
