2020s AAA IS dogshit, it's one of the only companies that can actually improve under WWE management since they do have some talent worth a damn like Vikingo, Psycho Clown, Las Toxicas, Negro Casas, etc (I'm not sure if the Wagner family is signed to AAA but they've got ties with NOAH so they're probably in anyway). It's just that people are saying this is the start of WWE becoming a monopoly outside of the US and fucking over the lucha scene the same way they ruined Europe's indies for the better part of a decade with NXT UK. AAA peaked in the 90s and then peaked again in the mid-late 10s because of a mix of Rey, Mistico, Psycho Clown, Wagner, LA Park, and Lucha Underground turning half their midcard into stars.
