Zombie Simspons continues for another 2 seasons Anonymous 03/06/2021 (Sat) 01:46:29 No. 10094
That'll be Seasons 33-34 taking it to 2023. If that wasn't bad enough, they even pulled a "SJW is a term created by right-wing trolls" on a recent Simpsons episode. Will Simpsons ever end? If I had to guess, they'll keep it going until they hit season 50 or at least 1,000th episode just for bragging rights. Do you still watch classic Simpsons or do you not want to be reminded about the walking corpse that it currently is? https://archive.vn/68Hge (renewal) https://archive.vn/dZ7s6 (SJW Simpsons)
>>21635 raid by /cow/, they often come here when their bored from raiding the gamergay thread and /v/. Just report and ignore.

>>10094 Ready for a new epic crossover?
>>10094 Did they do a Halloween special referencing Simpsons being a zombie TV show?
>>10094 >or at least 1,000th episode just for bragging rights. Simpsons doesn't even have as many episodes as One Piece? I surprised.

>>20208 18 or some shit, past it's prime by a fair way. >>20255 God she is such a smug cancerous waste of flesh. >>27288 There's no excuse for it unless you're a jap schoolgirl 10 years ago.
>>10094 What's stopping the producers to make the characters grow up and develop? There's this huge contradiction whether Bart or Lisa act like midget adults or their respective ages.
>>27616 Nothing's stopping them, but they choose to just keep moving the dates of character's births forward instead of aging them up. During the first few seasons, Homer and Marge were born in the mid to late 50's, Grandpa Simpson was a WWII vet, and Mr. Burns was born in the late 1800's (1896 if you take the throwaway joke of him being related to George Burns seriously.) But now, the way the show treats it, Homer and Marge were born around the same time Bart and Lisa would have been born when the show started.
>>27617 Grampa is a World War I vet. Of course he had to lie about his age to enlist. I'm fine with sliding timescales. I can understand that events were X years ago, and specific references to past eras will be based when the episode came out. That would all be fine if the episodes were actually funny or had any redeeming value at all. There are good comics from the '70s, '80s, '90s, '00s, and the characters aren't necessarily all still treated like they were born circa 1920. But they can still be good. And the ones that are bad aren't bad for that reason. They're bad because they have bad writers and artists.
>>27618 Sliding timescales & unaging characters is objectively bad when you're trying to be taken seriously though. Which The Simpsons tries to be both dumb comedy & serious commentary or emotional.
>>27621 >objectively bad Only if your target audience consists solely of people with a very specific form of autism.
>>20110 She never wrote anything but she would push storylines and lisa’s image. She’s heavily influential of her character.
>>20110 Youre not wrong, lisa's episodes are always the worst, atleast marge's are interesting like when she became a cop, got hired by mr. burns or started selling fast food. In any case, homer and bart are the soul of the show.
Is not dead yet? What's left to talk about when their voice actors keep dying?
>>27815 Yeah, but it's never a major one. Julie Kavner has to be in her 80's by now, hell, Dan Castelanetta, Nancy Cartwright, and Yardley Smith must all be pushing 70. But they never die.
>>27938 >Julie Kavner has to be in her 80's by now I caught a bit of a recent episode. She sounds TERRIBLE. Like when she does Patty and Selma or Mrs. Bouvier only coming out of Marge.

>>27815 Harry Shearer's free time is to shit on conservatives on his Youtube channel when he's not doing retarded voices.
>>19594 More years of Lisamania are always a good thing
>>10094 >Once again the show got awarded at the Grammy's <Because of Bart's actress doing her retarded voices Totally not rewarding propaganda whatsoever.
>>28806 Does Nancy Cartwright still shill Scientology in her spare time? I remember reading something about her using the Bart voice to do telephone advertise for them, which I always found hilarious. >”Cowabunga dude, come down to the Org and get your Thetans read!”
>>28810 >Does Nancy Cartwright still shill Scientology in her spare time? Yes. >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H96v0zFw-tA
(72.74 KB 540x403 Bart is gay.jpg)

>>28810 It's all fun and games until you realize her cult is willing to pull all the strings to hide and disappear all bad advertisement, in fact there was an episode planned to openly mock them, but the writers have already seen the backlash it caused by South Park. Although they already made one, but this one particular was written during its decomposing era.

>>28853 You got a problem with our man gordon?
>even if all the major voice actors die they could still continue the show using AI to replicate the voices the ride will never end
>>29164 >the ride will never end The thing is - Fox only wants The Simpsons and cancelled both Futurama and Family Guy(should have stayed) in favor of it.
>>29167 Family guy hasn't been cancelled, has it?
>>29687 No, it was only dropped from the Adult Swim lineup. Only the Cleveland Show was canceled out of the three.

>>10094 So they made an animated Death Note parody, where they showed Lisa being an ecologic-psychopath and there's another Halloween special where she dies in a constant loophole, Tim Long's daywork definitely got soured.
>>10094 Wow, how did they get away with this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ruU4uKUyHs
>>32981 By making a shitty Frida Kahlo episode
