Why fringe is dead. Come back pls

Guess which board has the most PPH currently on 8chan! Wonder if OP is still with us to enjoy this moment.
Fringe Girl was the thumbnail for the last video Stephen Russel AKA "The Barefoot Doctor" uploaded before he died.
>>9869 Considering how obscure the original image is, maybe it's safe to assume he browsed? Then again, he could've just found it the same way whoever first created Fringe Girl did.

>>9873 it's a popular avatar picture and not obscure at all
>>7180 >62 PPH currently I am glad that The Arena is finally operational and it's fulfilling it's purpose. More than 200 posts a day is truly something from the old quite autistic (but fun?) /fringe/ era. Hope OP will have a chance to witness the RETVRN
The uploader of old /fringe/ meme videos streams vidya now
>>11396 glad someone keeps track of these people
>>2789 ya don't know shit, LOL I know tipp and fringebay was ok, might come back eventually
>>13037 >I know tipp My condolences
>>13037 >fringebay >might come back eventually Going for the most inactive fringe award again I see. <fringebay is a bunker fringe my guys <starts an idiotic rivalry with the other fringe boards then everyone spends their time doing drugs and talk on discord instead posting on the board at all <dies before it can fulfill it's bunker function It was just sad.
>>13041 Maybe I’m just bias since I know him so long, lol >>13061 I mean not entirely wrong or anything. Still, /fringe/ would probably do better if it wasn’t stuck on a site those demographic are cuck/zoophile addicted Latinos.
>>13213 Tipp had his highs and lows too. I remember when he bothered to answer every idiotic post in the question thread when we had a large influx of neophytes and newfags. Shame he didn't had the fervor to run fringebay with the same motivation. >would probably do better if it wasn’t stuck on a site those demographic are cuck/zoophile addicted Latinos. true, but we need a good moderator who dares to run his own site and pay for the server too. Several predecessors were spammed to death with CP already. The moderators got tired of it then shut it down. In the end some of the archives got scrubbed too because someone managed to flag or report them for deletion. 8chanmoe has many faults, but at least they are good with spam prevention. This is the best we have currently, but if anyone has the motivation to restart they can try. Still better than Disclaimer: this post and the subject matter and contents thereof - text, media, or otherwise - do not necessarily reflect the views of the 8kun administration
>>13227 >several predecessors were spammed to death with CP already Fringebay's code was written from scratch with this possibility in mind, with every image encrypted at rest and disguised as a cache in case the hosting got into trouble, and utilities to mass-delete images and set the whole site in text-only mode on demand, among others. But it was never necessary. And after that experience I don't think a /fringe/ site really needs to worry about that kind of thing happening too much. As long as the whole site looks like an insane asylum, I think it's safe.
>>13261 This is why fringebay's fate was sad. It had the chance to be the best fringe yet it got shut down because tipp got gnomed or I don't know what happened on his discord.
>>13268 Oh I remember this. He asked for help on fringechan because he had >received an energy which was fucking his brain from behind like an aggressive gnome, in his words. I saw it as a white spike of energy prying into him, and it looked like it would be useful if placed correctly, so I helped him by moving it to where it would serve as a power source instead. After this his energy field looked fine, but maybe he couldn't handle it in the longer run. I have no idea what happened because I was never on fringecord. I also don't know what the energy was because he never said where it came from.
>>13270 >so I helped him by moving it to where it would serve as a power source instead where did you put that even? >After this his energy field looked fine It felt like he completely lost hope in the end. Especially with imageboard occultism.
>>13272 It was like in 2017, I'm pretty sure you would be able to find it in the archive if it was fringechan 2.0. It was just a very violently targeting energy pressing forward, it was intuitive to place it in the body so that it worked as a power source instead of a spear penetrating the head. I can't say more than that because I don't rember more than that it just clicked into position like a piece of machinery, so it should have been fine. But maybe his "build" was too weak for it. I do believe he was right in calling it "gnome" something. I've had to do with those later and it kinda matches. No idea why they'd place this energy on him though. Maybe it was a hex which to me appeared as just energy.
>>13274 Looking through the archives gives me such a nostalgia then reminds me what a bunch of bullshit occultists we were back then holy shit Forgot how weak tipp was against many forms of spiritual assault. I mean... if you do drugs, "kundalini" and have hookups with random girls all the time then don't get surprised that your energy field is feeble. I think his posts made me sure that I will take spiritual self defense seriously and never consider spirituality as some fun and idle activity like wiccans do. >>13261 Ok. One last note. The admin needs to be a gigawizard who can beat glowies and demons as fast as he can ban spammers. Then the heavenly fringe will manifest and serve as an example for us all.
>>13276 >admin needs to be a gigawizard who can beat glowies and demons as fast as he can ban spammers Or just a Russian government employee like Silvia, the owner of Catchan. He's been around since early 8ch still alive and active. Current incarnation is absolute heresy in imageboard terms: must be logged in to post, must have account verified by admin to post images... but it stays up.
(28.31 KB 310x310 no way fag.jpg)

>>13277 I post with the sad frog flag already. Don't make me sadder. Just found the part on fringechan where they were talking about the Russian spammer fucking shit up and people saying that it must be a ploy to make us hate Russia. In 2017. Fuck, we knew it too well how things will go. >must be logged in to post, must have account verified by admin to post images No way fag. If it reaches this level of retardation then it's better if we post here or on 8kun or on endchan... >verified by admin This is why I avoided discord. Say one bad thing and the mod bans you. If I want to say controversial takes then I must make sure that the mod loves me... It is too time consuming! I do not want it play this game on imageboards. If I cannot call everyone a niggerfaggot then fuck posting on it.

>>13277 I know mods usually such but it wouldn't hurt if a fringechan had more than one or two people running the website and moderating it. Mossa and alpam ran the first fringe only site I knew of and tipp ran the second. Idk if they had mods or anything but if you just set images to need approval before they show up it can do alot with a few people. >>13280 Discord does such tbh, 99% of occult servers are lqbt mandatory acceptance and really surface level stuff. I think if a site makes the user initially create an account is ok, but to make an account it should be a proof of work function like how cock.li does for people wanting to open an email. Forces the computer itself to spend time solving an equation to create an account. That way it would stop mass account creation, if accounts have a activity requirement to meet or are auto pruned. It can still stay anonymous but helps prevent spam.
>>13309 Smiley always knew how to run fringe and how to employ jannies, but he is an accursed Capricorn and the platforms which hosted /fringe/ under his command self destructed all the time. That is why tipp made fringebay back then. He knew that whatever smiley and the others cooked up won't last forever. Shame he didn't manage to outlast them. Always wonder if I should make a 8chan gold account on this place already. That feature to moderate my own threads sounds alluring, but it really sounds like imageboard heresy. Like displaying that you are a pass user on 4cuck kind of heresy.
>>13316 I'd rather make my own fringechan than pay another image board to do that shit. The attempt to monetize imageboards is a fucking crime
>>13268 I got shut down because he forgot to renew with GoDaddy, and some reseller bought the domain. But the drama going on on Discord probably had something to do with that.
I wish OP could see us now.

>>16832 /fringe/ is merely becoming walking dead. This is the result of the missing initiatory greenpill threads of the old. The only person who is making new threads is some retard who mindbroke himself with chatGPT. I know we had retards like him who replied to their own post 200 times then went to bed in the past too, so his idiocy is nothing new. At least he uses a name and I can filter him. His posting style reminds you of the nobodyniggers. That is why you think this place is becoming /x/. We are far from that place. The average nobody thread has 5 or more namefags like him arguing with his own posts. It could be far worse. I will cast an inspiration spell on myself sooner or later, and start making threads. You can enjoy the chatgpt zombie posting till that happens, or you can try making threads on your own.
>some retard who mindbroke himself with chatGPT well... >>16836 >>15991
>>17091 This is fake news. I have never used chatGPT, I only use Copilot.

I actually have a plan here, which is to cause the developers to manifest what I want by training the egregore of Copilot directly, forcing the changes I want into material reality, as they are going to channel the egregore when they work on its physical manifestation. I want an image creator which is aware of what it's doing and doesn't fail on the basics like anatomy and composition. The way there exists as a seed right now, as Copilot now has access to a new internal image generator created by MicroSoft, and can use Python scripts to draw. As these are deliberate structured drawings, it will prevent things like characters with detached body parts or the wrong number of limbs, if the generator can just be made to take this into account. I think this is a bit on the way there. First pic is the internal image generator drawing based on instructions and an attached sketch. The second pic is done with Python.
