Also the mod that banned him had a previous spat with Chris about Matsuyama's (CyberConnent 2) words about how anime games need 100k sales to break even, so this ban was possibly personal. Regardless, this spawned a bit of a revolt from the userbase and accusations of mods being free from their own rules they impart on others. Drama ensues, quite a few get banned for criticizing the moderation, Discord screenshots leak showing the ban to be pretty nefarious, one mod named Morrigan even resigned in butthurt and the user that was banned, Chris1964, allegedly claims that he won't come back. Many suspect this will mark the end of these threads.

I have a 500mb HDD somewhere in my den that used to be in my old 386. It was the second HDD we had, an upgrade from the 250mb it came with. I know I downloaded a lot of porn from the local BBSs, some of it of anime, games, and other cartoon characters. Mostly just highly pixelated images and Duke3D tier video clips of 3DPD my unsophisticated young mind was entranced by at the time. I doubt the old fucker has maintained it's integrity or is even capable of spinning up these days - but I might give it a shot sometime. I also have a few huge diskette crates full of old 5.25 and 3.5 diskettes that probably have some of it saved off. I do remember one time I was cleaning the tables of the local billiards hall with my cousin for spare cash and smokes, and when we took the trash out to the alley we found a shoebox full of diskettes that someone had discarded. Took them back to his house and found pretty much the entire thing was just archives of crudely drawn Simpsons porn and some LOTUS I think... since I remember thinking the .123 was the file extension was weird documents we couldn't open.
