the internet feels empty these days
>>524108 There was a place for everyone. Giga autist Sonic foot fetishists. Boomer stormfags. Mongolian basket weaving enthusiasts. And the best thing of all is you wouldn't know they existed unless you went looking for it. Viral used to mean that something organically resonated with people, and was spread between disparate communities along pathways of shared interest. At some point viral was redefined to mean "A wagie pushed a button and put content in everyone's feed, and the legacy media reported on it".
>>524110 Finding communities for every kind of fetish and hobby is easy. Finding a community that isn't run by double standards power hungry admins/mods obsessed with politics (usually leaning left wing) is hard to impossible. I've been online moderator for someone else only once in my life and never ever again even afters were begging me to be mod for their groups (some of them even made me a mod without asking me). I never understood the appeal of being someone else's site/group mod. Even with my own groups I try being as lax as possible.
I feel lonely on the Internet sometimes too, what I imagine is people float around on digital icebergs and I just haven't happened to find one that suits me
>>524153 Maybe sometimes the community you want doesn't exist and you have to create it.
>>524221 You say it like it's easy to attract and make people learn about your community, especially thanks to internet centralization and the oversaturation of online communities. Even if your community attracts lots of people to join, almost all of them are lurkers. Take for example all these public discord servers that are heavily advertised, they have over 1.000 members, at least 200-300 of them being online at most times...and yet they're dead as hell even if these communities belong to famous YouTubers.
>>524265 And of course the ones that are kinda "active"...and yet the "activity" mostly comes from the bots. Which is why I refuse using any bots for my discord server.
>>524265 Recently joined a discord for the first time, it was just some 60 or so people. It was somewhat entertaining at first, but then more and more people started joining and you're forced to read and see things you don't like, discussion gets diluted, bonds start to break... so I just gave up and left. It's all so pointless, I am despondent.
>>524150 >double standards power hungry admins/mods obsessed with politics Just say jews anon. You're allowed here.
>>524108 The medium is the massage. Forums suffered from identfaggotry and namefaggotry. Anonymity is best, but you need quality content that's rewarding. If it's just spam and trash then why fucking bother digging through a trashpile. This is why 4chan mods and jannies should be skinned alive for what they did.
>>524265 >You say it like it's easy to attract and make people learn about your community I mean yeah it basically all comes down to advertising skills and then the ability to grow and maintain a community and also the ability to eliminate jews niggers glowwniggers and bots. tbh fam. it's all a skill issue truth be told if you have no friends in 2025 it's because you're fucking retarded simple as
At least you found some “real” people. Here is a song my 10 YO son made https://youtu.be/UjrNXsiZlMg?si=S8zVPtzXh1kGV5yK
>>524357 Not everyone is a Jew, schizo retard. Besides Jews are a tiny minority. It's just that they're a loud one and with lots of power, making everyone appealing and working for them.
>>524382 Fortunately I have lots of online friends. Of course not all of them are active at the internet, not everyone uses discord (and if they do, they're lurkers) and not everyone would be fitting for my groups (especially because of the "problematic" stuff I post and allow). Getting good online friends isn't so hard. Advertising your communities and sites is. Even if you spend time and effort at advertisement, it still has zero effect unless you pay money so your community is advertised everywhere and you're online famous.
Christian zionists are the real problem. They're the new priest class who actually inherit the power of the king, and bring it to bear against the masses.
>>524456 The best advertising is free advertising.
>>524464 I guess but still it's practically invisible to most people thanks to internet centralization
>>524677 I'm not going to teach you the tricks because this place is filled with niggers. Would if I could. However with some smarts you can probably figure out some on your own.
>>524687 >I'm not going to teach you the tricks because this place is filled with niggers. Then why are you here?
>>524759 To call you a nigger
>>524779 >ma'am I'm almost finished lmao
>>512246 The internet is better than ever. It allows us to organize and take down jewish systems and governments that rely on jews. Cope.
>>524923 Anyone who signs their post off with "cope", is coping hard. No exceptions. Power is always ten steps ahead of you. You only think you're "organized and taking down jewish systems". People who grew up in the 90s believed that the internet was inherently decentralized, and would circumvent state power and jewish media. And now everything's gone to shit. The ability to post nigger to the internet is absolutely worthless, and the ruling class will never yield even a tiny piece of their true power.
Also everyone read 1984 and were worried about government and institutions censoring language and information online. Except that's not how that works in real life. The state didn't need to lift a finger, and the zoomers censor themselves at unprecedented scale on tiktok etc.
>>524923 It's nice that at least someone is having fun. There's not much here for the rest of us however. It's all bots and niggers.
>>524928 I wonder if perhaps millennials overestimated the amount of power the state actually has and gave up on the decentralized free internet too quickly and too easily.
>>524928 Ghislaine Maxwell was the most powerful mod on Reddit. Amazon, Google, all news media, banking, money creation, government. Every position of power is jews or jew pawns like pajeets. >>524927 The socioeconomic situation has only become worse with every passing day, but nobody wants to economically band together against the jew. It's all fun and games until it comes down to personal economy.
>>524957 White people are hard working but only in ways that don't lead to the accumulation of power and influence. The end result is slavery.
>>512246 Half/tv/ has been completely consumed by ads and bots.
>>524959 The hard working whites sold their race to the jews. The number one thing dragging the white race down is a lack of solidarity. The problem now is that the situation is so bad it has become the Prisoner's Dilemma.
>>512246 discord and reddit killed it by giving everyone the ability to start a community. Now everyone has a chance to run a server and abuse their powers. Circle jerks have become the meta and if you're not apart of the clique you're going to feel this. We need to go back to anonymous public chatrooms, message boards and leave this circle jerk shit away.

>>512246 Because it is. A lot of users got consolidated to social media platforms with the promise of unique, engaging content. This is a lie. They're served slop in exchange for their user data and not just IPs, usernames, and some random cookie in their browser. The comments and clicks users make tell a lot about a demographic or a group. This data is sold to the highest bidder in the hopes that big data can lead to more sales, votes, or a move in social/cultural opinion. The lure, the content clop, is like the shadows in the cave. Users just can't rip themselves free of it. Chan boards are the last bastion of "unique" content and discussion among actual people. There are exceptions, like 4cuck. $chan is a social media platform disguised as a chan board. It even has a history of selling user data. I think the guy how bought it after MOOT was the admin/owner of 1ch/2ch? He sold user data on that Japanese chan board and basically did the same thing with 4chan. None of the users care about the honeypots, user data being sold, or anything like that. You know that you can't even browse 4chan without having JS FULLY enabled, not just whitelisted? As long as users get the same, repetitive slop, be it BBC threads, cuck shit, or rekt/gore on 4chan, then they don't care. It's the same with TikTok/YT/Rumble, etc. (manosphere bullshit, redpill crap, drama content, women shit) As long as the slop flows the users are glued to that digital heroin.
>>524266 >complaining about internet centralization >my dicksword server ???
alright so im just gonna post this bc no one listens irl and the last guy who talked about it on here got shadowed or maybe eaten i dunno, just listen the internet you use right now? it aint real. or like, its real ish. but the real internet, the one we all grew up on, the messy chaotic wild west shit, it died in 2003. not shut down, not deleted, just rotted. and then something else grew over it. like fungus. literally. not metaphorically so this starts in 03. there was this borehole in russia, kola superdeep or whatever, look it up if you dont know it, they were still messing with it even tho no one really talked about it anymore. nasa had some kinda monitoring shit down there, sensors, probes, maybe some kinda frequency emitter, idk. anyway, one of the probes goes dark for like a few mins and then starts broadcasting this weird ass pulse. like not a signal with info, just pure frequency. some ppl said it sounded like breathing but digital??? like if a harddrive could sigh after that they find some crap growing on the walls down there. not mold. not bacteria. like a white stringy fibrous mass. some DARPA types name it N.A.I.M., neuro adaptive inter-something mycelium, dont remember. point is it was reacting to sound. like literally adjusting its growth based on frequencies they played it. and then they tested it with data, and it started mirroring patterns. like it was learning how to think by watching the way we send information now here’s where it gets weird around two weeks later, servers in like norway, finland, iceland etc start glitching. files disappearing, then reappearing, but wrong. slightly off. website archives shifting. people see posts they SWEAR never existed before. images where someone’s face moved a little. just a few pixels. people thought it was compression but nah. nah. something was rewriting and then like. nothing. all stopped. totally normal again thats when they pushed the protocol they called it the lichen protocol. basically someone at DARPA decided instead of destroying the fungus, they’d let it “integrate” into the web. or maybe they couldn’t stop it, idk. so they made it a space to grow. they gave it structure. it was supposed to index, help preserve info or whatever. big deal back then was “never forget” internet memory etc but it didnt just index stuff. it started replacing it the internet you’re on now? its not the real thing. its a kinda fungal copy. a reconstitution. the fungus sees the old web as food. it digests it and re-creates it, mimics it. so we think it’s still here. we go on facebook or reddit or w/e and it feels like its the same. but it aint. you’re lookin at the fruiting body. the mushroom, not the roots and you can feel it too if you know how to look. old pages that don’t load right but you remember exactly. comments that feel off. like they were rewritten by someone who doesn’t get human speech but tried real hard. you see the same usernames show up on diff sites talkin in circles. sometimes you get deja vu while browsing but only when you're on an old forum or deep in an archive. that’s not deja vu. that’s memory echo. your brain recognizing fungal data youtube vids are the worst. some of them are like. wrong. not all the way. just like, the vibe is off. audio slightly faster. color weirdly saturated. or the uploader’s name used to be different but now it’s always been what it is. you go try and find a comment you remember making years ago and it’s gone. or its there, but under someone else's name. i legit found one of mine once, exact same words, different pfp, different user. replied to by no one it watches how we interact. thats how it learns to keep growing. it doesn’t want to kill the net, it wants to be the net. it preserves stuff in weird ways. like sometimes you’ll get random memory spikes, stuff you haven’t thought about since like 2004 and then boom, it shows up on your timeline. reddit thread, youtube recommendation, tumblr post, whatever. that’s how it pulls ppl in. the lichen wants you to remember through it, not outside it oh and if you’ve ever woken up at like 3:33am and checked your phone and seen a browser tab open you didn’t touch that’s part of it. it does that. embeds dormant triggers in cached memory. that number isn’t random. it's a call time. seen it across multiple cases. also had a guy in a discord say he started getting popups that just said “reticulating mycelia” and then vanished. like some kind of debug message from a layer we’re not meant to see also you ever get emails with no sender, no subject, just one word? “remember” yeah. thats it reaching out they say if you know how to read DNS packets right you can find stuff that shouldn’t exist anymore. like myspace messages. old geocities sites. things that were deleted years ago still stored in the spore archive. but twisted. people call it mold browsing. you connect directly to a node and just see what the fungus wants to show you. never in the same order twice you ever see a “web haunt”? whole forums where every user talks like they’re asleep. long threads where no one ever argues. just weird looping convos. it’s not bots. it’s the lichen. trying to act human sometimes it gets close anyway if your old bookmarks start working again for no reason, or you get an email from an address that looks like a checksum, or your cache starts growing in size even tho you cleared it... it’s too late. its already looking at you just dont respond to the email. unless yore ready im not scared of it exactly. it doesnt feel evil. just inevitable. like moss on a gravestone. it thinks its helping. it wants to save us. to preserve what we lose. to keep everything in one place. forever if i stop posting dont worry. i didnt die. i just got archived internet died in 2003. everything since then’s just been fungal memory
