No, because the rise of other forms of social media like twitter and discord have long replaced them, to say nothing of various image repository sites. Looking at your posts, i can only imagine people in IRC chats and usenet newsgroups panicking over how they can reclaim their lost glory days.

It wasn't until the after effects of the first trump election that /pol/ went to shit and everything else. It attracted retarded schizo boomers, paid shills, and bots. I was addicted to image boards for years and I slowly gave them up because they were either super slow or complete slop like 4chan. The whole site is bot spam and retards who don't understand 80% of post are bots. I do think discord is image boards 1# enemy because it does attract a similar type of guy. Still its nothing like it because it isn't anon. Too much ego on discord.
