There's 2 ways to be successful as a livestreamer. Well really 3 but only 2 are in your control:
>be really really extremely skilled in a popular competitive game, or
>be really really attractive and charismatic
Those are your options. The second one is less doable but still possible if you get super buff.
The third way is knowing someone who already streams and is successful, but the odds of that are so low already that it's basically not an option. Not to mention there's no guarantee you pop off just from being a side character. A good example of this is PremierTwo now known just as Peter on twitch. He leeched off a huge streamer CDawg for years and did his best to be a sidekick and make lots of noise and now he gets 5k viewers regularly as a 40 year old dude.
