>World: Earth
>Basic Premise: "There's two distinct sides of the world; that which makes up everything mundane and tangible, and the realm of the divine. In the realm of the divine there has conflict deciding who rules the heavens and everything beneath them, and the current generation of gods are of the fourth and fifth generation. The lower realms are the work of first generation divinity who do not rule, so much as they simply exist as the underlying foundation of things. Their offspring are by comparison much more petulant and volatile, having fought between one another several times since the dawn of all.
>The first generation divines - the Primordials - insist only upon one thing, that their creations below not be disturbed "too" heavily. That's right, because though the gods that model themselves as rulers over all may meddle with the world and the lives of mortals as they please, even they fear ever performing direct acts that may incur the wrath of their ancestors. There are only a few exception in this manner; creation and guidance. The Primordials are welcome to the creations of the divine being placed in the world, seeing it as a place where such things can only make the colors more vibrant.
>In the case of guidance, the oversight of the Primordials is not especially strict, and so the gods influencing the world by whim are permitted as long as they occur through the means of the world, and so it is that the gods prize worship and faith. Mortals, the creation and servants of the divine, fear the wrath and whims of the divine, but continue living their lives as best they can in this chaotic world."
>Dissemination of Magic: "Of all the gods, there existed one that was more fixated than any other upon their creation. That god was Prahmix the Morning. Prahmix was a god of creation, of beginnings and ends, and of course most importantly - to some - the progenitor of humanity. Depicted as a giant bird engulfed by flame, Prahmix is said to have formed the first of the humans of clay and fired them from the heat of his own body before bestowing them life. Their exact form is hotly contested those of the modern day, the tall men, the halflings, the elves, and the dwarves.
>There is a reason for that, and that reason being that Prahmix's love is intense. Prahmix is known to send humanity trials to test them, prepare them, develop them, and sometimes just to witness their potential. The many races compromising "humanity" are said to have come about as a result of these trials. Despite those trials, Prahmix is doting, such that even if humanity is at risk of falling entirely, through his genesis and grace they will one day flourish once more. It is because of this behavior that when humanity was at one point in a dire era, Prahmix stole the secrets of fire and delivered it upon them.
>No god had ever done anything of the sort before, placing knowledge thought to belong exclusively within the sphere of creation into the lower realms, and so Prahmix's actions placed him under immense scrutiny by the other gods that ruled the era. Many condemned his actions, some wishing for his immediate banishment to the underworld and destruction of humanity, while a few stood by his actions and stated that didn't interfere with the rules of intervention. To broker peace, one who sided with Prahmix proposed order and equality among the divine and the mundane.
>Fane the Scales said that the other prime three elements of creation should also be granted to mortals as well, gifted through those not aligned with Prahmix to allow the gods all to garner favor with some fraction or another, and to keep fire's influence from dominating. At the same time, he proposed order through a great, divine construct to limit the scope of the elements within the lower realms; this would become what modern civilizations know as the System, and magic as we understand it. From there on, the divine would mingle predominantly within four factions after the elements."

(Races)
>Humanity: "Those made by Prahmix the Morning and blessed with the secrets of fire. Composed of Tall Men, Halflings, Elves, and Dwarves." (Explicit Dungeon Messhi arrangement. Lots of racial tension but constant meddling and cooperation as well.)
