And it's not exactly breaking new ground for storytelling in the first place. The new content barely furthers the characters or tries to ask new questions any more. Based on the fact they got nearly every voice actor back to reprise their roles for a short epilogue, I'm guessing that the whole cast will be returning in X2, which will probably release within the first year of the Switch 2 lifespan. X2 will obviously take place on the mystery planet which may or may not be Future Redeemed Earth. I'm leaning towards it being Earth. The main question I have is whether or not the Icarus or the French or Japanese ships we know escaped will also find there ways to the same planet. I could see X2 having major cities from every ark ship that survived the destruction of Earth. I'd also like to briefly point out that the new epilogue does not explicitly destroy the theory that the destroyed Earths from X and the numbered games are the same. I'll admit it is more likely they are different Earths, but despite what youtube personalities would have you believe, nothing was said that completely invalidates the theory.

The only note of confusion is that the Earth in 3 didn't have rings whereas the new planet at the end of the epilogue on X does. I finally perfected my Telethia the Endbringer slaying today. I got tired of farming bonjelium for Opening Art XX so I stopped at a point where my piledriver hit for about 2/3 of his health. The next challenge was figuring out how to survive phase 3. Collision X kept kicking my ass before Calm III ends so I decided I needed a way to just skip phase 3 altogether. My solution was simple but elegant. I figured if I can kill him before he can reflect ether damage then I would survive. I was right. So my surefire way to beat Telethia is piledriver, land where he lands, infinite overdrive, offensive stance, memewalker, hercules blow. It succeeded and my one shot of desperation from grinding paid off.
