OP is correct, but it goes a bit deeper than just eating less.
The real reason why people are fat is because of all the toxic chemicals and additives that are present in all non-organic foods. Whenever you consume foods that contain toxic chemicals and additives, your body tries to protect your organs by pulling the toxins away from your organs and trapping them within fat deposits. When you stop consuming those garbage foods, then your body will switch over to safely removing the toxins by excreting it via sweating, peeing, pooping, etc.
I lost a lot of weight just by switching to eating organic foods, and depending on how long you've been eating garbage foods, it can take a few months to a few years for your body to fully adjust to organic foods. I started eating organic foods around the beginning of 2020, and it took my body until early 2024 to fully adjust. Last year, my weight went from 350 to 315 lbs without any form of exercise, and a few days ago, I weighed 280 lbs. If I combined this with exercise, I would probably be somewhere around 230 lbs, maybe less.
Also, think of your body's health as a group of sine waves, they fluctuate depending on various things. Now let's say that you are addicted to caffeine, many of those sine waves are either very high or very low, but when you immediately stop the caffeine intake, you cause all of those sine waves to spike really hard, which ends up damaging your body in the process. Instead of immediately stopping the caffeine intake, you need to slowly let your body adjust by lowering the caffeine intake a little bit at a time, which slowly brings the sine waves back to the normal level.
Basically, when I switched to eating organic food, my body's sine waves slowly readjusted back to normal over the course of 4 years, and the toxins slowly began to shed off. If I can lose weight by switching to organic foods, you can too. It's going to take a lot of dedication, but I know you anons can can do it. Start by replacing some of your foods with organic versions of those foods, and remove all junk foods like chips, soda, ice cream, and others from your diet.
