Every empire is an eternal empire. But time moves. By this contradiction is meant to say, that something lasting forever, leaves chronological time. So once your ruling is eternal it will inevitably leave the time progression. Any attempt at staying relevant in chronological time, will be futile for an eternal ruler. As the rulers, you are a mere representative of your period. The period and your rule may be eternal, but so are not your people. At some point, they will move on, but you still rule your period, your eternal empire, it just ends up being a ruin of the past, a mostly empty empire of grand achievements, something to look back at, and live in, but not something to show off to the world anytime soon. The world is by its nature fleeing, it has to keep moving. What will this mean for an eternal planet? Only as much as it can mean for each inhabitant. Maybe it will last, maybe it will become obsolete, while still eternal. Who knows. We only know that we chose our successors, and we are now relieved of responsibility for the mess that is this planet in any period, though we are still allowed to carry out our rites forever. I wouldn't want to be the next ruler, seeing as every one, will have to deal with the nagging of grandparents, who, I should point out, do not decrease in number with time, as they are immortals. Well, you jump on the train at some point, and then the carriages pulled will remain of that number and length, at least. Waiting longer will just make it longer, so better get on at your preferred length. Some like it really long, so that's fine. Soon it'll be more of a snake. Or others will notice that your thoughts have merit or it's something they too went through and may give an useful advice as a remedy. This thread should be a sort of (not that) off topic posting. The question thread should have questions mostly and funposting will just get lost in the heated discussion in there. This should fix that. I know some people have an urge to post their unfiltered thoughts on many things. And fringe was always ripe with rants and critiquing other famous and not that famous occultists too. I sometimes just rawdog ad hoc energies, and clash them against things that just exist in my life. The results are always transformative. Be careful what you wish for, because it will change you in order to manifest. Other than that, I've built a good enough rapport with my subconscious that I can read omens everywhere, but I often fall back to Tarot as a formal way to get my intel. A tip I would give is to examine your day to day feelings so that you know what energies are shaping your mundane reality, and then alchemize them purposefully (if you have the balls).
