So few ABDL hypnosis files make use of fractionation or inductions other than progressive relaxation. One of the most sure-fire ways to make someone go deeper into hypnosis is to re-hypnotise them, which is what fractionation is. It can be as simple as "In 3 seconds you'll open your eyes..1..2..3.. Eyes open.... Sleep! Back down deeper", or slightly more complex with something like a Vogt Deepener. Then there's the distinct lack of confusion or shock inductions. There's an induction by I think Fiona Clearwater (Cant remember it was a while ago) where they have you try to remember 7 items at the one time and then once you hit 8 the command is "Sleep!". A mix of confusion and shock induction. A pure shock induction might be like the start of BambiSleep where its just silence and then its the jarring "BIMBO DOLL" trigger. Just replace that with "Sleep" and you've got a decent shock induction over an audio file. Progressive relaxation just wont work for some people, and it takes ages to do. We've got files these days with inductions that last 15 whole minutes when really there should be options for something faster once a trigger is conditioned in. Hypnotic Mist does other stuff well, but it only mentions the "Hypnotic Mist" trigger suggestion in one part and then doesnt reinforce it at any point. Giving the suggestion and then conditioning it in with fractionation would work a treat I reckon, then have subsequent files (or an edit of an existing one) use a shock/confusion induction using the trigger. These files dont need to be an hour long if you just set the listener up to go deep quickly and then bash out a few suggestions and visualisations. I've more to say but I'd like to know whether others share my thoughts.
>>48934 A persons expectation is half-way to them being in trance. If they think spirals and progressive relaxation is what works .. it works. As for fractionation; I'm personally as a subject not a fan. It's a fun game for those with a hypnosis fetish that enjoy the hypnosis itself. It definitely has an effect but 1..2..3 in .. 1 .. 2.. 3 .. out .. repeat rapidly. That doesn't work for some people. Having a deepener on repeat a few times can be just as effective However given all that if post-hypnotic triggers are working; use them. No fractionation of fancy tricks needed. The issue I feel for many is a disconnect between what the fantasy of "erotic hypnosis" is and the fetish of it being delivered compared to the reality. Yes; for some it really is taht easy. For some they have conditoined their responses as much as been hypnotised to achieve them. (And thanks to Conditioned Reflex Threapy I'm not sure there is a difference except on the timescales of change) But here in terms of files .. since most of them go from "you like diapers; diapers are cool" to "you will be a 24/7 incontinent diaper wearer all of the time" .. I think that aligns with delivering the fantasy of the hypnosis for a diaper lover instead of the reality of hypnosis enacting long lasting change.
>>48934 >Progressive relaxation just wont work for some people, and it takes ages to do. We've got files these days with inductions that last 15 whole minutes when really there should be options for something faster once a trigger is conditioned in. You're not wrong, different people will respond to different styles of induction and progressive relaxation isn't for everybody, but I've been listening to hypnosis files for pretty much a quarter century and I find progressive relaxation (i.e. a body scan and a deepener, possibly even a couple of waves of both) is still the only kind of induction that gives me that full "hypnotized" feeling. Some of the files that work best on me have more than a half-hour of induction which might seem excessive for a lot of people but I can't deny that, generally, the longer the induction, the deeper I go. For the life of me, I can not trance properly to "seven plus or minus two", which I know is an induction that some other people find highly effective. I find I just can't keep track of the teapots and the pencils, but not in a way that shuts the analytic part of my mind "off". I just get irritated more than anything by it. I know the ideal solution is modular files where those of us that prefer long progressive inductions and deepeners can plug those in before the main body of the file while others can put alternatives like "seven plus or minus two" or even just triggers but the downside of modular files is that they can sound pretty disjointed if the sound levels and background effects in each sub-module aren't consistent.
>>48945 Heh, yes you've hit the nail on the head there saying about the fetish of hypnotism vs genuine use of hypnotism. There were posts earlier in this thread (e.g >>44249) mentioning how abstinence from masturbation amps up the hypnosis experience and I wonder whether that's because it makes the file less about getting off and more about taking on the changes and suggestions. I haven't browsed enough files to know whether there is a marked distinction between "Change" files and "Fetish" files. It really all comes down to the target audience of this stuff and what the creators are intending to get across. At the end of the day it can reasonably be assumed that the purchaser of a file intends to use it to get off, so making files for that purpose is just good business. Makes me wonder what tiny percentage of users would actually go to a hypnotist for incontinence (and whether any would provide that service). >>48971 Thanks for naming that induction, I'll have a browse about it to dig deeper as it really intrigued me at the time. Interesting you're mentioning having so much experience and finding progressive relaxations to be the most effective after all that time. Perhaps that's because going into trance, or meditating, are distinct skills and practice really hones those. On the flipside responding to a trigger or a shock relies on prior conditioning or lack of expectation for that shock. Like my reply above it makes me think about the target audience and the cost of buying a file. If someone is going to fork over $50+ for a file then they'll probably use it at least a few times which gets them more used to going deeper over time. And if all files are using progressive relaxation inductions then there's a kind of unintentional collaboration between file makers because the collective ability to go into trance steadily increases amongst users. The flipside being each file having triggers that only work on that file. Similar to the issues with making modular files; having some larger project amongst many creators could create a set of triggers that stay across many different files so that there is more of a reason to train on those. Might just be the niche-ness of ABDL hypnosis that means files stick to what has worked historically. I say this as someone who has lurked in these kinds of threads for years though, so again I'm not actually looking at sites like WMM for what's new.
>>48984 You talk about "going deeper". You've thanked the other psoter for mentioning the 7 plus or minus 2 iduction. Here's some more pointers at information you might want to look up Get yourself a copy of "monsters and magical sticks" by Steven Heller. There is no such thing as hypnosis, apparently. :) On the concept of deeper; pretend for a momemnt that "deeper" doesn't exist. That saying "deeper" to somene means absolutely nothing to them; because they don't know what it means. Then consider the idea of a shock induction with "sleep" as an alternative to all that stuff they want you to track; or in response to this weird handshake thing someone did. What that 'work' if a mate said hello at the pub and tried it ? Would it work at a hypnosis convention ? Why ? Erikson might be a famous conversational style hypnotist with a reptuation for shaking hands at conventions and leaving people "in a trance". But context is key. Derren Brown is a famous mentalist with stage shoes and can probably get some of the audience jypnotized just by saying "Sleep" So if you take away the context of "hypnosis".. does sleep and deeper mean anything ? Conflating the issues of actual hypnosis v. erotic or fetish hypnosis. "Deeper" and "sleep" anre't explained. This is at the heart of the analyticals problem to my mind; objectively trying to measure something won't help but what do they quantify and measure ? So for anyone that doesn't get it ? A hundred hours listening to a file telling them to *do* something. Breathe slower. Relax their muscles. etc .. is teaching them what "sleep" and "deeper" means and where it leads to; so no suprise the progressive induction work well. If you want to look at the opposite of "sleep" anr relax" try looking up "Applied Hypnosis and Hyperempiria" by Don Gibbons Finally you mention a set of triggers to work across creators or sets of files. The closest exmaple I have to that is those B*Sleep files. And they're a terrible idea. You'd be setting people up to respond to something you don't control for use by people taht may have vastly different ideas on what is ethical sound or safely practical. You asked about a professional hypnotist doing incontinence suggestions; I suspect that most would have both ethical and professional issues with that - belonging to a professional body preventing them from working in that way.
>>48984 > Might just be the niche-ness of ABDL hypnosis that means files stick to what has worked historically. I'd like to address this separately. What has worked ? I already mentioned that most files go from "you like diapers" to "24/7 incontient baby" While I beleive many folks will have listened to and enjoyed the files I sincerely doubt that many have gone that route. For those that have; I suspect they were ready tor already on a journey to achieving it and hypnosis eased that transition or acceptance of the change. My attitudes as a subject have changed over time. Repetition and conditioning ? Sure; as much as hypnosis. The fantasy of being a mind controlled baby; doesn't really work that well with the requirement to eat and pay rent so work wins. Having also been the hypnotist; I've have as an example a subject where the hypnotist worked really well. Where after doing a few sessions they asked for it to be reversed. Why ? Because they didn't think it would work that well. In the past listening to files or letting somene hypnotise them - it'd hadn't really had any effect. That's the heart of the files produced for ABDL and much fetish content. It's not really produced with the goal of achieving the change. Sure it will help someone along that journey move along. It's produce by a creator to sell into a market. Sex sells; masturbation material sells. FOr anyone that is serious about becoming incontinent. If I siad that there is a set of awesome and amazing files that work .. they'd be interest. If I said they were $1000 dollars. People would try to find them free. But the pricing at that point has a purpose in the thepray world .. a person willing to pay it is prepared to put the work in or accept the change. If you're willing to pay "free" why are you expecting a result ? How about if I said it's the guys voice; and he's a bit nasally ? Does it only work for you if its a high produciton quality sexy sultry female voice ? Does it only work for you if she mentions specific things or tells you to cum at the end ? Because that's moving away from "hypnosis" to fetish material. That is what a lot of the content is - and it's mixing "hypnofetish" and "abdl" to the market. In many cases it's also feminziation/sissy by default. Because for reaons; thats a market segment taht sells. If we look at some files that have been shared recently.
[Expand Post]They're by powerful hypnotist. There are a growing number of files. If this person were a therapist and was intrested in lasting change. We;d see intro files. Different types of inductions so a person can find what works for them best. We then my find incremental change; and a lot of conent about setting goals; expecations and the mechanics of actually making lasting changes. But no; we get a dozen different files that are basically delivering the fantasy of 24/7 and something baby or diaper. whether its incontientence, day or night wetting, making messes. The files are firmly in delivering the fetish. If I were to consider your earlier point about a set of shared files I have remember an option that inspired those B*S* files were made by Mind Mistress; she had the first 'modular' files popularised for hypno-fetishists at least. She also had (ethics aside) files that you could introduce someone to listening to as a way to learn triggers and respond to hypnosis before adding the content for change. Taking the ethics out of it; there is a clear difference betweens omeone marketing files at an affordable price on 20+ different kink related topics to someone having core-files to develop trance skills and improve hypnotic responses before introducing elements of change.
>>48987 Bro. You know your stuff. Have you found anything abdl related that really is hypnosis and has more credibility behind it?
>>48987 >That saying "deeper" to somene means absolutely nothing to them; because they don't know what it means. Wow. Mind blown to say the least. It's such an obvious thing to someone who has no concept of hypnosis and from my end I'd never even considered it. Again, wow. I have much to think about with just this, and you've written so much! I've downloaded those books. Both sound very interesting, especially "Monsters and Magical Sticks" as I imagine that will get to the heart of your statement I've quoted. >>48988 >I suspect they were ready tor already on a journey to achieving it > a person willing to pay it is prepared to put the work in Thank you so much for writing these lol. Again, so much to think about. Your points on ethics I very much appreciate as well because it grounds my imaginings in reality which is where they would be if made real. I would like to make a reply with more substance, but I'm still mentally reeling from parts of your response. Never expected a reply as good as you have given. Thank you so much. In future I plan to become a hypnotist, so being able to get some real fundamental insights here is so valuable. Reading time!
Anyone have the first Baby Bantling file? I'm willing to share a couple files I have.
I shared and was hoping we were starting this back up.
