diapers/abdl gear review and opinion thread Baby 04/29/2024 (Mon) 21:13:42 No. 36497
boomer/tranny/eceleb reviews are useless due to brainrot or paid shilling, and trawling through 80 amazon listings and ancient forum posts full of fat ugly old men covered in shit to maybe find any useful info about a product is annoying. share your experiences with other anons, because knowledge is power and sharing is caring.
i'll compare what diapers/pull-ups i've tried to xl goodnites as sort of a basis, starting with the goodnites. the 140+lb sizing is meant for a 140lb sphere, i'm 5'8", 36" hips 32" waist and weigh ~140 and they fit snugly due to the elastic but have probably an extra 4" of stretch on either side. the internal lining was extremely soft and comfortable, wicked piss away pretty well and the SAP is of a pleasant consistency. there isn't too much padding in them, and they can hold ~1 wetting easily, and have pretty tall leak guards and conform to my body well. once wet though, the SAP will definitely move around. they'll just stretch over an erection, unless you're big enough that they already barely fit. the baby diapers i was able to wear in highschool (~15/16y.o. then, mid 20's now) were all similar in texture and capacity to the goodnites, and the features on their product pages like the 3-core layer thing are actually pretty nice, kept the SAP in place but were still comfortable and pleasantly squishy and wicked water in and absorbed pretty quickly, etc. sadly they were really at their limit even when i was 16, so unless they make size 10 with a weight rating of something like 80LB adults are either never going to fit in them, or they'll just fall off the second you try to move. pampers easy ups were really interesting, but the 4t-5t ones i tried did not have enough stretch to get over my hips. the only actual adult diapers i've tried thus far have been betterdry/crinklz. i bought them while horny so i got a 4-package case, which came in a large, relatively plain white box which would be completely inconspicuous except for a large M in a cloud logo, and the box was flimsy enough that someone poked a large hole in the side when they picked it up, which gave me a moderate heart attack and left me paranoid for ~1 month that someone'd seen them, so be wary of that. the plastic backing is somewhat nice, slightly textured and not excessively loud. the main pad's surface in the middle is a little bit rougher than the goodnites/baby diapers, but not irritating. it took me a while to realize i had to tuck the leak guards in because i'm retarded but after that they probably won't leak unless you really try to test their capacity. the SAP is really pleasant, and the cotton/fibrous binder is also pretty soft. if you really soak them (2-3 full bladders) they'll start to sag a bit, and if you walk around or stretch and etc. the plastic will stretch out a little, but the weird double tape system mans you can lay down and readjust to get them snug again. i've had 2-4 out of ~50 so far where i really had to be careful when putting the tapes on, however once they are on they hold well. a snap-crotch onesie is pretty nice to hold them up snug imo. next to no space for an erection with penis pointed down, can get kinda half-chub. i personally avoid pointing mine upwards because i'm worried about leaks, but with it upwards there's plenty of space and depending on how you tape it up enough SAP to feel nice.
Imagine being so obsessed that you can't post an original thought without mentioning trannies.
To preface, I'm on the slimmer side of men in terms of width (30" waist, 36" hip). Since I'm not incontinent, I'm on the side heavy wetter as I will evacuate my entire bladder at normal times when urged. Products that will be good for you are determined by fit and how you urinate (sporadic, light, heavy, etc.) In general, if you plan to evacuate a full bladder quickly, look for dips with the coloured insert (blue/purple usually). Also differentiate your preferences for plastic vs cloth backed dips: Plastic is louder and bulkier, but will retain smells better, and are less prone to leaks (I've not had any issues with either plastic or cloth except where noted). Cloth is softer and quieter, but will not retain smells that well. Actual product reviews follow (I will add a size marking for what I tried based on my measurements): - All Northshore products are good: material and styling are up to preference, but they're all made to expected sizing. You get what you pay for. MEGAMAX (S) are the most absorbent and I've never been able to max them out before getting uncomfortable. If you like a quiet and comfy fit, AirSupremes (M) are pretty good, just a bit less tolerant to extra heavy wetting (and obviously less capacity). I would stay away from the GoSupreme (M) & Lite (M) lines as they have relatively low capacity and are really meant for accidental leaks as pull-ups for the elderly (and look it, too). - BetterDry (M): They're alright; they fit a bit awkwardly and are not re-tapeable, so if you fuck up your tapes, you just have to live with it. When I got them they were super cheap, so for the bargain, worth it. Average diaper that is exactly what you would image a plastic diaper to look and feel like. - Rearz Violet Seduction (M): One of my favourite plastic backed dips, but they are no longer in production. Fit fantastic, soft plastic that was not obnoxiously loud, but not so quiet that it doesn't crinkle. 10/10, sad they're gone. - Rearz Lil' Monsters (M): Similar to the Violets, but fit slightly more awkwardly (not noticeable if you weren't comparing them), and are scented. Print is cute, scent isn't crazy strong, overall very good dip. - LittleForBig Little Fantasy (M): Super cute print, but I find they fit just a tad worse than Rearz. They feel a bit bulkier despite not being any bigger, nor being any more absorbant. Plastic is also a tad louder with these, so if you like that, take LFB over Rearz. - InControl Felicity (S/M): Fuck these. They suck, are scratchy, look even worse in person, and will leak even if you do everything right. Awful POS pull-up. Avoid like the plague. - Goodnites (XL): If you have the bladder size of a middle aged, these are pretty good, but for a fully grown adult, you're probably going to leak at least half the time since they are very mediocre at wicking way urine. - ABU Little Kings (M): Favourite cloth dip. Impeccable fit, super cute print, very comfy, insane absorbency. Only thing is if you rub the outside too hard, it can start to pill and separate from the rest of the fabric, but in general this isn't an issue. Hefty price, but it's totally worth it if you have the time to keep them on for extended periods. - Tykables Animooz (M): Very solid fit, slightly stiffer than Little Kings. Other than that, also a very good dip with decently cute prints. If you want full, in-depth reviews on any dip, https://www.youtube.com/@howtowearadultdiapers probably has a video on it. If you want more info from me, ask and I'll try to answer.
Going to add a comment as a review of BetterDry. I've tried Northshore diapers; they're better than BetterDry. As both a product and for the ABDL crowd that is. But they're also more expensive and I find them sometimes hard to get hold off; perhaps supply at least to the AB sellers has been resolved. When I wanted them; I couldn't get them. BetterDry is the generic white version of Crinklz brands. So you got various print options if you do want an ABDL theme. Reason for my review however; is that BetterDry is the best fit for me personally. For cost and performance I'd say they're the best available here. In the UK the NHS supplies those that are incontinent with the Euron or now ID brand. I was originally recommended BetterDry by someone that is incontinent as it far exceeds what they're supplied with. They used them for an "all day" or "travelling" arrangements when changing regularly was going to be problematic.
>>36519 In the UK I would say the best are Tena Slip Active Fit. Better Dry don't seem as well made and they cost more. ID used to be okay, I haven't tried their plastic backed one in a few years now.
>>36519 What are your waist and hip measurements? I might've found them to fit awkwardly because I'm more biased to the cloth-style diapers, and/or softer plastic ones.

>>36497 I've tried various pharmacy's diapers and I can only come to the conclusion that abdl diaps are better. Was there ever an adult diaper from a major retailer that you liked? I've only ever found them to be flimsy and cheaply made (tabs only cuz pullups don't count).
(49.46 KB 800x800 M10 (5).jpg)

>>36515 At least there is a version of BetterDry M-size that is re-tapeable, can confirm as I'm wearing one
>>36551 there is actually a brick-and-mortar store pharmacy right next to me that sells ABDL diapers. The owners are Asian and are just trying to get into a new market, but I found that cool.
>>36571 Where is it? At first I thought you were talking about Diaper Depot in Atlanta but if it's a new store I want to add it to my map of ABDL stores.
>>36573 Mozena Medical Supplies & Equipment, Inc there was 2 in CA that I went to one shut down but that was actually an abdl store the Mozena is just a medical store that also sells abdl diapers
What's a really good Paci? I have tried some but I don't keep them in as I go to sleep.
>>36589 There's a seller on ebay (dion413abpacifiers) that manufactures scaled up nipples.
>>36497 >autistic screeching You get the phrase "unbiased opinion" is a contradiction of terms, right?
>>36589 big fan of adultpacifier.com, best nipples both silicone and latex, perfect upscale of baby shield, and you can customize them. all around it really feels like a legit retail baby pacifier but sized up for a big mouth, contrary to the others that feel like novelty items or decoration
>>36589 Pacifier addict (not trying to make a joke or anything, that's literally the name of the site)
>>36601 >>36605 Is latex or silicone better? which do yall prefer?
>>36608 I've only have ever had silicone pacis so idk
>>36608 Latex is harder to keep clean and wears out faster, but it's way more authentic, at least to what I remember pacifiers being like.
>>36608 Latex is never bad in terms of mouth feel, but does wear out over time. Silicone can be really good or really shit. I have tired the silicone ones from babypants and they were tough and terrible, but then I later tried the silicone ones from pacifieraddict's fixx series and it is my current main pacifier.

>>36628 >>36619 >>36612 Thanks, guys for the suggestions!
I was really appreciative of the reviews people posted here. In the past I had only tried Abenas and looking back they're practically medical grade. I just tried Little4Big and it's like a world of difference. So loud crinkle, so much absorbency where they can take multiple heavy wettings. Even the tapes are better. It's so much better! I bet all real ABDL diapers are like this. I have been thinking about getting a kigurumi type onesie, basically animal themed footie pajamas. However, I don't care if it's that brand. I'm mostly worried about overheating inside since I do live in a warmer climate. Does anyone have a suggestion for a brand that breathes? Also just general reviews of onesies/little outfits would be great.
>>37711 >I'm mostly worried about overheating inside since I do live in a warmer climate. If you live in a hot climate it'll be hard to make footies or an all-in-one sleeper work without running AC all night, which kind of defeats the purpose. Have you considered just getting an ODU onesie? I find them really soft and comfy and they don't get too hot. However, be advised the ODU onesies run small and shrink a bit in the wash. Buy a size higher than normal if you get one.
>>37734 I hear good things about ODU, but I have a shape-conforming torso onesie already that I love, I'm looking to add something that feels different so I have some options. In my search I also came across Cuddlz Waddle Onesies that have "extra padding to force you to waddle" and "zip in the back" which sounds like a lot of fun (I do have a mommy). Anyone have experience?
Anyone got any recommendations for a diaper spreader?(pic related) or a harness? The ones I see online are all super expensive and I don't wanna waste money on something I won't use
>>36551 InControl nighttime briefs can hold about 12 liters which is the most aborbant diaper I've seen on the market, with Rearz 11 liter Mega diapers being a close second. Both are sold on the Rearz official site or on diaper sharks
>>37752 Those claims are fake as fuck. Rearz even admitted to altering testing methods to get scores that dont match the industry standard
>>37765 Damn that sucks. Is InControl owned by rearz? And if not rearz what would be the most absorbent? The highest number I've seen from other companies is 7.5 liters
>>37779 They are. Trests claim 9.5k and Str8ups claim 8k those two I've found to be more absorbent than the 11k ones Rearz claims they have.
What's the best absorbency to price
>>37739 >Anyone have experience with the Cuddlz Waddle Onesies? It has been a few days so I just thought I'd bump this question, hoping someone might see it from the front page over the weekend. At this point I might just get it and report back myself, since no one else is familiar.
>>37785 Useless metric as the sodium polyacrylate in most diapers tend to bleed out after awhile, so unless you plan to drink enough liquid to literally kill yourself, any diaper with high absorbency will work (plus the longer you wear, the more prone you are to rashes). If you absolutely want to wear for as long as possible, plastic back is a must, and Trest is likely the most absorbent. Best per dollar will be whatever you can find on the second hand market.
>>37785 Just get MegaMax.
I am based in the UK and will post a short review of every diaper I am familiar with. I am slim (31" waist), have mild incontinence but use a diaper mostly out of choice (realistically I could get away with a pullup or even occasionally pad but I just prefer a diaper for ABDL reasons). I only use medical type diapers as I just don't care for age play IRL and I also have to attend medical appointments and don't want anyone to think twice about what I'm wearing. Tena Slip Active Fit - nice smooth/soft plastic product. Excellent tapes. Great absorbency if you get the Maxi or Ultima. Not that bulky for the absorbency you get. Drawback is that when worn and fully wet the padding inside will clump up and break apart. It stays within the nappy but the integrity of it gets bad. Dry Life Slip Super - has a more comfy, bulky feel to it than the Tena. A bit more noticeable when worn under clothing but not much. The padding holds together really nicely, even when very wet, unlike the Tena. The plastic has a nice crinkle to it. The shape of it on the body feels a bit more traditional (like a baby diaper). ID Slip PE backed - I haven't ordered these for a few years. They used to be a good alternative to Tena, particularly before the Active Fit was released and they didn't have a good plastic backed option. If you can get them cheap, they are worth trying at the higher absorbency ratings. Only the PE backed though. The cloth backed are really poor, sag a lot and feel leaky. Abena (plastic backed) slip - poor. Not enough sap so the absorbency isn't great. The padding starts clumping after just one wetting. It's also a very big fit on me, the back rises up very high on the back compared to most diapers. Molicare - better than the Abena but similar in the sense that there isn't really enough SAP and you will get clumping too soon after wetting. I really like the colours though. It's just neat having a dark blue diaper that is still medical. They ride very high up the back as well, they just have a large form factor. Very crinkly. I have a soft spot for them but they aren't actually a great diaper to use. Other notable mentions: Tena Slip from circa 2012 to 2014. That was the golden age of plastic backed medical diapers. They were so slim. The SAP was incredible with how much they could absorb. They had a unique soft feel to the plastic. The tapes were re-tapable and were awesome. It was such a good diaper and when they discontinued it in around 2015 I was gutted. Random diapers in China. They have some really cool stuff just on sale in regular pharmacies in Hong Kong and China. Covered in patterns, love hearts, bears. They are really cute. The plastic is so thick and solid, with great crinkles. They aren't super absorbent but they are really cool and very available.

I saw that a company I haven’t heard of is claiming a 9.5 liter absorbency for their Abdl diapers. Has anyone tried these to confirm their claim? Pic related
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I saw these really cute diapers in a video and was wondering if anyone knew what they are and if they're any good?
>>37967 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BVM2TP8S/?coliid=IYZ70700BO1QK&colid=XSRVIMAQ7OMC&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1 This is the brand but they are not good. Chinese manufacturer trying to cash in on the popularity of ABDL by selling low quality products. They are thin in terms of thickness and width. The fit is weird and you might think they're cheap but the price is for 7 diapers per pack so cost per diaper is honestly kind of equivalent to other ABDL brands that are better.
>>37971 Rip, that sucks. Thanks anyway.
>>37966 Do support them, great company. I prefer their "big ears baby". >Northshore Throwing it out there if you're actually incontinent to try MegaMax Airlock. These are slightly thinner cloth back megamax, but with adhesive tapes and a landing zone. On my figure at least, I forget I'm wearing one even while super active outside in the summer.
(357.62 KB 392x614 mattress protector.png)

If you want a waterproof mattress protector that is super crinkly and obviously for a bedwetter, these ones from walmart are pretty good. You can't see it when it's on, but It's a fitted sheet and not a zippered protector for moving, so it is clearly meant for bedwetting kids. I haven't had it for long, so I don't know how long it will last, but I've been looking for a mattress protector for a while that has the distinct noise and feel that I remember, and this is it. Every time I go to sleep or hump my diaper on the bed, my ears are filled with an unmistakable reminder of my childish situation. I can also commit to bedwetting now without having to worry about leaking diapers, so it should be a fun time.

Does anybody know of good locking plastic pants and locking gear in general? It's one of my absolute favourite kinks but I've never indulged it
>>41320 I'm in the UK btw :D >>39355 The idea of this is so fkn hot hngggg.
>>41320 >Does anybody know of good locking plastic pants and locking gear in general? I personally haven't bought anything of theirs, but StraitJacketShop on Etsy seems to have some high quality ABDL bondage gear. They're the ones who made those locking booties with the spike inserts. They don't have plastic pants, but they have locking straps and locking cotton diaper covers. https://www.etsy.com/shop/StraitJacketShop?section_id=21892769
>>41328 I have some of their stuff, it's amazing.
Does any of you have good advice on proper diaper covers? I experience quite some problems with leaky diapers, especially along the legs (I do put them on properly, leg guards up etc., and I dont overflood them). What brand, material, shape, fastening method etc. do you recommend? Also, other tips to prevent leaking are welcome
>>41382 You're rather oversizing or undersizing them
>>41383 I generally use a size L (male, 183 cm, 90kg, waist 85cm, slightly muscular) and the fit at least feels nice (I have also tried M's and XL's, but they dont fit as well) Its just that when my diaper is quite full (not full-full), it can start leaking and my romper often gets wet (not much, but enough to be annoying). I also cant sit down, which does away with the relaxing feeling that I normally get when wearing one. I just think (or rather, hope) that a good diaper cover can take care of this. However, if you think the problem lies somewhere else, then please say so.
>>41384 sounds like you need to adjust your tapes more securely after you've messed.
>>41386 Is retaping really necessary? Shouldnt a good first tape job be sufficient? Btw, I first do the top two tapes at a downwards angle, and then the bottom two tapes at an upwards angle
>>41384 You might want to experiment with different taping angles, it also wouldnt hurt to own a pair of vinyl pants, at the very least you'll enjoy the knowing you dont have to worry about leaking. I'd suggest these: https://www.amazon.com/Haian-Adult-Incontinence-Plastic-Transparent/dp/B07R9R4V7S/
>>41393 Ah, thanks! Concerning the material, is vinyl the best (i.e., most waterproof)? I've also heard good things about PUL namely
>>41394 PUL is not waterproof, it is water resistant. It is a treated cloth layer with a water resistant coating. While it is okay for minor leaks, if you were to seriously leak and then sit down or apply pressure urine could seep out straight through the fabric. Also over time as you wash it the waterproof treatment will wear away. Covers made of vinyl, plastic, rubber, pvc, etc are waterproof as unless there was a tear nothing will pass through.
>>41399 Oh, that conflicts with what I've previously read on PUL; I thought it was waterproof. I have at least seen some videos where they tested this, but it is true that they generally dont apply any pressure. Concerning the other materials, which one would you recommend most?
>>41417 >>41399 Personally, when I pad up I always put on a pair of plastic pants, then cover it up with a cloth diaper cover. combined with a onesie it's delightfully thick, stays in place, and I've got 2 extra layers of protection from leaks. Do recommend
>>41447 Sounds good, but wouldnt it be more logical to put the plastic cover over the cloth one?
>>41447 It must get sweaty under there. I understand wanting to contain the filth though.
Anyone tried these waterproof training pants? How are they? https://diaperu.com/products/abdl-training-pants-shark-whale-waterproof-version
>>41476 I'd rather have the look of the cover on the outside, also keeps the extra material from the plastic pants from spilling out of your onesie. I dont usually leak, but when I do the plastic pants clean/dry faster than my covers do. I've also never had a blowout/leak get past the plastic pants layer.
>>41476 Anon, obviously the cloth outer cover is for aesthetics and bulk. The inner plastic diaper cover is what handles the function.
>>41505 >>41506 Yeah, I was mainly thinking about the practical side of the diaper cover; because of the leaks, I didnt have the time to consider the aesthetical aspects haha But if having the cloth diaper cover over the plastic one works well, then I'll also try it. For now, I have looked at this cover: https://www.saveexpress.de/nl/inkontinenz-mehrweg-reusable/airoliver-pvc-slips-bodys-diapers/hosen/9727/super-airoliver-ueberhose-no.1003-weiss Which seems good (100% PVC, broad elastics), but if there are any other metrics which I should consider, please say so
They're not very technical and I mostly just talk about pritns but I've written a bunch of ABDL diaper reviews on tumblr: https://www.tumblr.com/abdlextra/tagged/diaper%20review
>>41417 With the tests they also test it brand new, after a few weeks to a few months the water resistant qualities fade and you begin getting sweat through leaks. In terms of good material anything actually waterproof is good: plastic, vinyl, PVC, rubber, latex, etc. The question then comes down to if you have alerigies with the material(latex), want a more expensive but heavier and higher durability (rubber), are able to handle the specific quirks of the material(no exposure to sunlight or oil), etc. I like to recommend vinyl because it is waterproof, fairly cheap, durable, and aside from not exposing it to petroleum based oils it can take a beating and is fairly easy to care for.
>>41320 You want to take a look at "4abies". They make some really cute locking harnesses
(806.93 KB 1200x1200 Diaper_Cover_Foldover.png)

Also a tip for if you have a plastic diaper cover with broad elastics along the legs: Fold these inside-out and on top of the cover, such that the elastic puts pressure at a higher point on the leg, and not at the point where the plastic and elastic are sown together. This way, you decrease the change of leaking near the legs.
>>41744 I'm sorry, what?
>>41755 Normally, if the legs of a plastic cover are leaking, then this happens where the plastic and elastic are sown together. However, if you fold the elastic over the plastic, then you create more pressure/a tighter fit above the point where the stitch is, reducing the chance of liquid even getting near the stitch, that would otherwise result in leaking. In the end, just try it out and see if it works.
>>41510 I have those exact pants, be generous when sizing or you'll struggle to slide then off come changing time plus risks of leaking.
>>41758 Okay that makes more sense. Thanks anon
