Drawfags are content creators, content creators are a type of user that is naturally beneficial to a board.
They are plenty important to a board's health, I would argue that their consistent content creation has ensured this place has been a lot better off than it would've been.

Their posts have had lasting impact on anons to do so, and drawfags literally contribute to board culture through creations that can often lead to memes which leads to further memes, and memes are one of the most powerful way to both draw in and retain users.
This doesn't just apply to drawfags, but they are an important kind because they create
original content.
Any fag who does anything of value to the board, like a consistent thread creator, someone who makes videos, someone who organizes events, or just a very active anon are all good to a board's health.
You are not going to get a 100+ user spike any time soon without getting lucky of some kind of event or something happening, which is increasingly unlikely in this day and age. So the best way otherwise is word of mouth, and making sure the board is able to retain those users. If you have a friend you can bring to the board who isn't a cuck, you should do that.
Back in the day I brought my RL friends and a family member to 8chan, and the latter still uses it for a fact. This doesn't include people on other sites and online places I've brought and otherwise shilled to.

quality naturally begets people sharing about it more. 8chan's own culture still being somewhat strong in the face of this proves people have a pride in being part of this place despite everything that's happened.
You don't want to use those sites, but most anons are on places like twitter, jewtube, discord, cuckchan, KiA/
(((Steam))) groups, small subleddits, alt-forums and niche communities like RPGCodex, and so forth.
There are almost nobody using Pleroma and Mastodon and LBRY.
For those that are, feel free to reach out to them, but its immediately clear how many aren't using such places most of the time.
Migrations like what you're talking about are almost unprecedented, you are essentially proposing everyone waste their time play the lottery.
"Organic" growth doesn't mean a surge of users, its consistent growth.
A thread generating activity is entirely a meaningful metric, how the fuck is it not? That is a thread that can be pointed to and displayed that anons saw value in and posted, due to the OP or another reason related to it.
People who like being a part of a good place will naturally share it.
There's a board I used back on old 8ch.net, it was very niche and dead most of the time, but because I used it briefly and started posting on it like crazy, even though I did minimal advertising at the time, if not none, for some reason, people started showing up that I never saw before, and posting on it, and when I kept up the posting, they kept up their posting too.
Unfortunately I lost steam because I don't have the sheer, unbridled autism and dedication to keep a board active by myself, but if I had, it would've kept growing by that point.
I kinda regret it, all it would've taken from me was like, 3-5 posts a day, or less, and the same applies to a board here as well.
Regardless, I have instances of proof that my method works, regardless.
You need to realize your method is unfeasible unless you temper your expectations of it to be methodical, and not very fast.
Big wins generally and often come to those who are consistent enough to gradually improve over time, not to the one who prays for a 1-in-a-million jackpot.
